AlpineSPG-69C3 3-Way 6 x 9 350W Speaker

I received these last week, installed them in my 08 4Runner the same night to pair with my Kenwood BT-365U head unit and had an opportunity to spend a weekend listening to them. In short, they're a quantum leap above the OEM units. The bass is good and the highs are crisp, thanks to a relatively wide frequency response. That said though, they ARE only 6X9 speakers and won't create enough bass to rattle neighborhood windows. As far as distortion, I'm ready to turn it down by the time I reach that spectrum.My only caveat about these speakers is this: The SPJ series speakers don't seem to be marketed in North America. I couldn't find ANY information on them from the Alpine.USA website; however, I DID see third-party Australian and Asian markets advertising them. Since they don't seem to be a domestically marketed model, I'm not sure if Alpine would honor a warranty claim against them should they fail.Overall though, great speaker at a great price worth the five stars.UPDATE: One of the speakers is now going out despite my not driving it to clipping. Maybe the summer sun cooked the internal components. Either way, it's done.

Great sound! Awesome sound! They blew out in 3 weeks. I have a 15 year old after market Sony Xplode that delivers 52watts to each of the 4 speakers. The voulme goes to 30 and i blast music at volume 22. They just wore out quick. I still use them as fuzzy music now. Meh....April 30, 2017 I did research on car audio and realized that all new speakers need about 15hours of low volume playing for a break-in period. I did not do this. So i will say the speakers sound awsome.

Ich habe mir diese Paar Lautsprecher, für meinen Mini Cooper Clubman S für die Hinteren Sitze bestellt, da zuvor nur ein Mitteltöner verbaut wurde. Nach langer suche fand Ich dieses Paar und wagte den versuch.Der erste Blick:Die Lautsprecher kamen wie von Amazon.de standardmäßig innerhalb von 1-2 Tagen, an dieser Stelle echt ein Lob!In der Amazon.de Schalter fand ich eine Edle Verpackung, jedoch ein nicht so aussehende Lautsprecher, was heutzutage ja bei fast allen Produkten vorzufinden ist.Naja, die Verarbeitung sah auf den ersten Blick gar nicht mal schlecht aus, Zubehörgerät war ebenfalls alles dabei.Einbau und Anschluss Kinderleicht!Funktion/Sound Qualität.Im niedrigen Soundlevel erreicht man einen schönen Bass, sowie auch der Hochtöner gibt klare und sehr gute Musik von sich. Jedoch bei Lauteren genießen der Musik, beschweren sich die Ohren ganz schön, da das Verhältnis einerseits zum Bass Level zum Hochtöner Level sich um fast 200% verringert, Ich habe mehrere Fade, sowie bestimmte Frequenzen im Verstärker verschoben, was in meinem Vorteil möglich ist.Jedoch kam dann das Highlight, das beim normalen(!!) Hören nach einer Zeit die Membran abgerissen ist und somit das ganze ein Schluss Strich ist. Zurück mit den Lautsprechern und ab zu BoseFür hörgeschädigte im höheren Alter vielleicht eine gute Lösung, jedoch nichts für Musik-Liebhaber

Ok if you are looking for better sound to replace your factory speakers then this is the way to go. The order was delivered as promised on time and was a direct replacement, no modifications required and as far as the sound is concern. You will have no regrets. Actually I am about to purchase another pair for my wife car. For the price and the sound this is an amazing buy. Strongly Recommend.

A bit tricky to install in the front doors as I had to make custom panels to mount the speakers especially determining the correct depth to avoid the speaker magnet interfering with the glass when the window is down. Now the sound is greatly improved with my Alpine head unit in my Sienna Van. Great speakers for the price.
