Although the mat is well made and looks great, I'm disappointed with the way it works. Or rather the way it doesn't work. My tub has a slip resistant strip down the middle however the entire area down the sides does not. That area is flat and about 3" wide. Some of the suction cups stick but several don't. Like the previous reviewer I didn't move around either but I don't feel secure. The main reason to have the mat is to be secure and I'm not convinced that I might not slip one day and fall as I'm getting in or out. I have arthritis in my feet. Initially it was somewhat uncomfortable to stand on but by the end of the shower it was fine so it softened up really quickly once I stood on it. The 3 star rating is strictly because it doesn't do what a bath mat should do to keep you safe. If it did I'd rate it 5 stars.

We have a very old porcelain tub. This mat is great. i just wish that the suction cups would hold better/longer and that it wouldn't discolor. but overall, have purchased a couple and will again.

I just received this and love it. It has only been one day, one shower and the suction cups on this mat stayed in tact. The water and soap flows through the mat and I rip it up at night to help the water drain. I plan on buying another one for a back up when this one wears down and the suctions don't hold any longer. The mat texture feels great on the feet as well. Not too scratchy, actually feels good. I highly recommend.

My only negative is that it isn't bigger. I wish they made one that covered the ENTIRE bathtub. The picture they show must be of a very very small tub because it looks nothing like that in mine. Other than that it's an excellent product.

I like the rough texture to my feet as I think it helps exfoliate the dead skin. When I rub my feet on it, I feel like I'm scratching a "good itch". I would give it five stars, except my son doesn't like the roughness. He says it's good at first but the longer he stands on it, his skin gets more irritated. It could be our age difference, where his feet aren't as calloused as my middle-aged feet.
