I have some designer frames that I spent way too much money on. They have very thin, almost wirelike, titanium temple pieces that bend just like the vast majority of eyeglasses do. The ends have been flattened out only a very small amount and then was coated with a clear plastic, but not temple tips, to avoid skin touching directly to metal. Unfortunately due to their small size and having to keep the temples bent inward to put a little pressure behind my ears to keep my glasses from sliding down my nose constantly it created really bad sore spots behind my ears. Then I found these!I had tried some of the other silicon temple sleeves sold on Amazon but those did not work due to the small size of the temple pieces they twisted so they were no longer providing any cushioning. These are designed to replace temple pieces that have removable temple tips. Mine don't have those. But, due to the small size of the temple pieces I was able to get these onto my glasses. So much relief AND my glasses stopped sliding down my nose.I am not giving these 5 stars is for just a couple of reasons. All of these silicon temple tips are thicker on one side. I checked them all and the same side is noticeably thicker than the other. I ended up rotating one ear tip so that the ticker side was on the inside. That meant the shape of the end was pointed in the opposite direction but that didn't really matter to me much as I didn't think anyone would notice - and they didn't.The second reason is that these only lasted 6 months. Not horrible but I would have expected at least a year. Thankfully they are not terribly expensive and multiple pair are provided. Still highly recommend if your temple pieces are making canyons in your mastoid bone.

Very easy to install and very comfortable to wear. First thing I noticed is now when I'm wearing glasses and I look down, my glasses do not slip forward anymore.I immersed the ear sock pieces and temple tips into soapy water before installing the ear socks as suggested by others. This made for easy installation.I think it is important to actually measure the diameter of the temples before ordering. In my case the temple diameter is 1.4 mm which is a perfect fit for these ear socks.

These are impossible to get onto my glasses, and the temples on my frames are super thin. The temples on my frames are somewhat square shaped with edges, so maybe that’s part of the issue? And they have that typical, rounded end, but they’re still very small. The second photo is the progress I made after about 40 minutes lol it was so frustrating and tedious that I gave up. Even after using a hot hair dryer in hopes of expanding the silicone. I’m sure they’re very comfortable, but they’re way too difficult to put on. All the massaging/sliding I had to do to get that far only made the silicone start to fray. Pretty lame

Perfect fit! Used it on very thin ray bands, original covers slid off in the pool over summer. These work great. Glasses went from falling off my husband’s face at any angle, to perfectly secure. Super easy to slide on and they aren’t clunky and ugly like I was afraid of. Get them!

Do the job , but hard to get on and break easy .

Lost the ear protection from a radio mic headset. Replaced with one of these. Good price and easy to fit. I'm sure they'll be great for specs too!
