I've bought three of these and got one replaced with no issues. It is brighter than any other flashlight I have and is super bright, especially for it's size, but it is tough too. Just last night I was going out to feed up the hogs and chickens and I dropped it (again) from about 4.5' off the ground on concrete, it didn't even flicker. I can't tell you how many times I had it plunge to the ground from a pocket to a 20' high deer sand. Even dropped it in a ditch or two, total submersion, when the mud settled, I just found the light (still working) picked it up and kept on going, just like these lights. I always, day or night, have one or two with me. They are small enough not to be inconvenient to carry and very bright. Up under the cowling of the tractor, can't see what I need to, I pull it out my pocket and everything comes to life. Buy it.

After discovering scorpions in our AZ home, thought it would be best to invest in a little detection hardware. I've had cheaper UV lights before, but this is certainly more powerful than a standard cheap light from a box store, and absolutely more durable. It has a pretty narrow focus of light, but that means it REALLY lights up when detected under UV. I wish it were USB-C charging, but Micro USB is fine (still have these laying around). I've purchased other lights from this brand and it's definitely worth spending the extra few bucks for something with a quality build.

I've bought 5 different UV lights and this is by far the best! 25 bucks for a light that's guaranteed for 18 months is a steal. It's bright and powerful it will amaze you with what you can see around the house and outside if you're mineral hunting. Doesn't bother me one bit that the battery is not replaceable I expect for $20 for it to be disposable. But 25 bucks gets you a guaranteed 18 months minimum of a working UV light backed by a company who actually honors their warranty and stands behind their customers! You can't put a price on that.I'm by no means an Anker fanboy because I bought things in the past that were dead on arrival or that malfunctioned but anchor was real quick to make it right. I highly recommend this UV light I couldn't imagine why you'd need a more powerful one. Maybe if you were out scorpion hunting you might want one that's more of a flood but if you're only using it for basic around the house and mineral hunting this is all you need.

I'm pretty impressed with this little UV light. It's MUCH brighter than the couple other ones I've tried over the years. My wife and I care for a small TNR'd feral cat colony and every now and then a new cat shows up and starts spraying on the bushes or cat shelters, so it's very important for us to have a good UV light that can easily spot all the urine and allow us to neutralize it. Other lights I purchased that were similar price and size just didn't have a strong beam at all. It was very difficult to locate all the stains. This Anker Bolder light totally fixed that problem!Honestly I really wanted to give this 5 stars. It's very solid and well built. Super bright for its size, but i was REALLY disappointed to find out that the battery inside isn't removable or replaceable. I completely missed that tidbit of info and didn't even think twice about it because I own two other Anker flashlights that both came with replaceable 18650 batteries. So unfortunately when the battery inside this UV light degrades over time, the light itself will eventually become unusable...I'm sure I'll get alot of use out of it, but its still kinda disappointing to discover I can't replace the battery.

We live in Arizona and have lots of Arizona bark scorpions where we live. My wife and I hunt the scorpions in the vicinity of our house to try and control the population. We've killed several thousand scorpions over the last 10 years and we've tried quite a few black lights. This is by far the best black light for scorpion hunting because: 1) it has the right intensity and frequency to make the scorpions glow brightly; 2) it puts out enough visible light so you can see where you're walking; 3) it's conveniently rechargeable; 4) it casts its beam farther than any other black light we've tried; 5) it's small and tiny but mighty and easily fits in your pocket or hangs by lanyard off your wrist. This is the only blacklight I will buy from now on.
