SweetGourmet Gummy Turtles Filled, 2.2 lbs

I was curious as to the flavor and texture of the turtles till I actually ate them so allow me to explain:There are 3 colors, green, white and one with a peachy pink color. The "jelly" on top has a strawberryish watermelon taste to it.At first I thought the jelly was sort of like a juice, similar to the ones you'll find in juice filled gummies. But the jelly has a texture exactly like the Scooby-Doo gummy snacks, just extremely soft gummy that doesn't really require much chewing.To be honest with you, I can't describe the flavor. It's just very very good, fruity yet creamy flavor. Ngl king, it smells just like frosting. Delicious.As for people complaining saying it has a marshmallow bottom, I question if they've even eaten a marshmallow before.But I will say, the texture is just like the white part at the bottom of your typical blue gummy shark. Its chewy like a gummy but not as stobborn. It has a type of chew that dissolves with a couple of nom noms. Gummy bears will have you chewing forever, these are not like that.So if you are questioning if you should get it or not I suggest you do. It's very addictive one minute you have 5 of em in front of you then you realize its all gone. You go back to get more because its a 2.2lb bag. Then you realize your body is 2.2lbs heavier the next day.Oh, I ordered around fall season where I know the climate won't melt the goods. If you live on a hot area I suggest maybe you should order it in combination with other items such as bottled water. That'll be better vs having it shipped singular in a Amazon packet.

I was searching for this type of candy for quite some time. I was hesitant at first with this Amazon find- but then I read one of the reviews that mentioned this was like the jelly turtle candy from a beach candy store. This candy does taste just like the Beach Candy store on Catalina Island, CA (I think the candy store is called Lloyds). You would buy this candy by the ounce, normally several pieces would cost about $6 to $9 to get a small handful. Yes, this candy is expensive- but if you are looking for those jelly turtles that a lot of beach candy stores sell then you’ve come to the right place. This is them. I believe that most people who are in search for this candy are those that had them at the beach, and are looking for that same taste and memory. For those that stumbled on this candy and have never taste anything like it- the closest taste and texture would be similar to Sponge Bob Crabby Patties- the burger bun texture is similar- but there is a more soft jelly type texture inside. These are in my opinion way better than Crabby Patties. They have more soft fruity flavor. Best of all these candies are filling, eating like 3 or 4 will fill you up. So if you are on the chubby side, these candies will be filling, and you won’t be a bottomless pit of binge eating these (they are that good, but they fill you up fast). I recommend these turtle candies, especially if you are like me- trying to find those special turtle jelly candy that you had at the beach. I hope my review helps.

This product was shipped on time and arrived on time so I am very happy with this company/seller. They come in a big plastic bag. They have a more marshmallow like texture instead of that of a gummy. They are chewy but I find that I can't eat too many at one time just because of the taste (which isn't bad or anything, it's just one of those things I personally can eat a lot of) and the texture. These turtles were quality and would be good for kids.

These are so delicious! My entire family is hooked. We first tried them from a gift shop and were so shocked at how great they tasted and found them here for an even better deal. They’re a creamy chewy gummy with fruity jelly filling. The red and white ones resemble strawberry cheesecake to me. So delicious!

First time I tried these little gems was from a candy store in a mall in KY. The kind of store where you scoop out what you want, bag em, weigh em, pay per pound. After that I was on the hunt and I had hoped these Vidal turtles were the right ones. They are! I took the rest of the bag to work and made everyone try them and now they’re hooked too. I see the reviews about them arriving melted. I noticed those reviews were written during the hot summer months. I won’t buy these unless I know it’s going to be cooler temperatures, but I don’t doubt that I’d eat them with a knife and fork if they did arrive in one melted blob. They are simply that delicious

This was the second time ordering these. First bag was soft and flavorful. This bag was hard and no taste. Generic bag with most of the label worn off. Will not purchase again.
