Absolutely Phenomenal – No Soundbar Needed
I was completely blown away by the sound quality of this projector. The Harman Kardon speakers exceed all expectations — phenomenal depth, rich bass, and immersive audio that fills the room effortlessly. There’s absolutely no need for a soundbar; the built-in speakers handle everything flawlessly. The image quality is just as impressive — bright, sharp, and perfect for home viewing. Colors are vibrant, and the brightness is ideal even in moderately lit rooms. For the price, this is hands down the best purchase I’ve made. The build quality, remote control, and overall design are top-tier, with a premium feel and exceptional functionality. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an outstanding home theater experience.

Nice Projector
Background: I own a LG OLED 55-inch 4K/3D TV in my Living Room. So, I ordered this Xgimi Horizon projector is mainly for my small bedroom which also is my home office with a white wall. Review: I received my projector yesterday. The shipping packaging is great with ALL (6) sides air bubble protection sheets so there is no way my projector will be arrived damaged. I am surprised that this projector is not big at all, so it will not use up too much space. Setting up this projector was smoothly; I was able to play YouTube videos without any issues. After installed the DesktopManager App, I was able to install Netflix & play movies without issues. This projector can produce very BRIGHT image, & the built-in speakers are loud & can fill up my room easily. For the best sound, I was able to connect my Sony wh-1000xm3 headphone to this projector thru Bluetooth. However, I did have issue to upgrade the firmware. I emailed Xgimi USA Tech support & they were able to resolve it within hours. Five stars for the Customer Service Team!! Overall, I am very happy about this projector & hope it will last for years. One more thing … I was concern about the USB2.0 ports … not sure if they can handle large MKV files … well I can confirm that playing these large video files on my Samsung T7 external SSD drive with zero issue. Can’t wait to test the 3D feature in the future.

Great projector for the price.
awesome projector for the price. I recently switched to this after my epson ef11 was giving out. I stopped buying televisions and use projectors on a 110" screen as my everyday television. set up was easy and wow is it great. I have some ambient light coming in and of course when lights are on it adjust and still bright enough to see picture clearly. With the ef11 I had to have the television pretty much dark. The color quality was perfect with some minor tweaking. I did let the auto focus set then turned it off along with auto keystone and zoom. I set it to my screen and no issues every I turn it on. I have it ceiling mounted and the fact that it has all my streaming apps built in no need for a switch only time I use anything else to project is my Xbox for gaming and netflix. I have no issues with lag while gaming and it hasn't skipped a beat at all. I opted for this one since it will upscale to 4k though not true 4k the eye can not tell at my viewing distance so I didn't spend the extra $400 for the 4k version. I have not had any issues with over heating Even with a full days use it is usually on about 6 to 8 hours a day.

Not perfect but pretty nice
The auto focus and keystone are great! The reviews that complain about the halo....ignore. If you have it WAY backed up it will cast a larger image and then scale down as you like but the HALO will still be visible! Move your projector closer ! It will be brighter and zero halo... lol. I hope it lasts, some of the reviews claim it just stops working... I'll let you know. Pros - Small, Bright, Auto focus, Auto keystone, Gorgeous picture, Sound is great Colors are nice! Negatives- No handle, limited controls on the projector, limited controls on remote, no backlight on remote

Love the brightness and 4D but....
TLDR: Great projector but cheap remote control EDIT: 5/6/2022 - 1 star I noticed the remote's up arrow is must be pressed hard to work. All of the other buttons I just have to click a little bit. First Review 5/6/2022 - 4 stars Received 5/5/2022 I was fortunate enough to see and used the following 1080P projectors and I have ranked them: 1. Xgimi Horizon 2. Nebula Cosmos 1080P 3. Anker Nebula Solar Portable 4. Xgimi Elfin Mini Horizon and Cosmos spits on the Solar and Elfin both in sound and brightness so most of my comparison will be between Horizon and Cosmos Pros - Auto keystone correction: Horizon's 4D and Cosmos's 2D. Being able to set Horizon anywhere auto adjust is a huge plus while Cosmos has to be place around in front of you which is limiting. I missed Elfin Mini's easy usage that bugs on Cosmos on top of lack of smartness made me purchase Horizon - Brightness: Horizon's 2200 vs Cosmos's 900. I did not know how important brightness especially for living room like mine that is not light controlled. Although Cosmos was usable during day time, I wouldnt prefer it. With Horizon, I actually enjoy using my projector now even at day time or windows open as it is still super clear - Shape: Horizon's cube vs Cosmos's oval shape. Cube is definitely a lot space friendlier compared to the oval shape. Although Horizon is a bit taller, Cosmos is wider - Bugs: Have not seen any from Horizon but with Cosmos, I keep getting randomly disconnected from Wifi every 30 mins (Im sure it's not Nebula's fault) because bugs happens but that was enough for me to switch to Horizon Cons - Speakers: Horizon's 2x 8W built-in Harman Kardon vs Cosmos's Dolby Digital Plus& 2x10W. Horizon seems to be louder but Comos has a higher sound quality and deeper bass - I will miss Cosmos's bluetooth speaker mode as Horizon does not have it. For Horizon, Air Screen would be required to play musics from my phone to the projector but Cosmos turns off the lamp which increases your projector's longevity especially when you play lots of music - Power: Horizon's power brick is bigger which makes it less portable and eats more power from my power bank compared to Cosmos smaller power brick - Remote Control: Horizon's thick, longer, heavier, and the small rounded volume buttons are aligned horizontally, far away from each other, are also the flattest buttons ever. Like did you guys run out of plastics or something? It also curves up right underneath it making them even harder to click. It also makes this loud noise when placed down. Click feeling feels cheaper compared to Comos controller. Meanwhile Cosmos are way thinner, way lighter, smaller, and well put together. For my use case, I am sticking with Horizon because I love the brightness and the user friendliness of 4D auto correct keystone

After months of research I decided to upgrade from wzatco m6 pro projector to the Horizon. And I am impressed by the picture and sound quality of the projector. At present I am projecting it onto a wall with a light yellow paint yet the picture looks vibrant and real. The projector is bright enough to play even during day time with curtains drawn. The auto keystone and focus features are excellent. I did have to calibrate them though. During calibration it needs to be kept within 6ft of the wall and the projector has to be levelled. Different experience altogether when watching sports and movies. When watching sports I use office mode instead of the football mode. The picture and video posted are when using apps on firestick 4k during the afternoon. The device s/w playback on YouTube and Google movies is excellent. The UI is smooth. The remote feels premium and has a convenient dedicated auto focus button on it. Even with projector close by you will not hear the fan noise. The boot up is very fast and the setup is a breeze but for some reason it will not allow you to complete setup with out a Google account which maybe the only fault I can find. I will update the photos when I have put up the screen. I bought it from the seller Aytexcel. Their packaging was excellent with air packets put around the original box before putting it into to an Amazon box to ensure there was no damage to the product. Amazon delivery was excellent as usual. Very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend this product if your looking for a quality projector.

I did a lot of research before buying this projector and it is definitely the right one for me. Here is my review of it so far. The picture quality is great, I have no complaints with it, the autokeystoning does not work well for my situation, but the manual keystoning is awesome. Remote is nice and high quality feeling. The buttons are not backlit but this does not matter, each button is a different shape/feel so it is very easy to tell which button you are pressing without having to look. The sound is AWESOME, I have the projector sitting behind me and I dont need a sound system, audio is crisp and clear, music sounds great through it, and it gets loud. The fan inside is dead silent, I swear they are using noctua because I would fully believe its passively cooled if someone told me. The remote is a requirement to use the projector, keystone, etc (if you have autokeystone turned off). I forgot it when I took it with me on a trip but was able to still use my nintendo switch as I had HDMI-CEC on and the projector autoswitched to the right HDMI. Keystone was ofc skewed but it worked for mario kart. Some thing people should know. This projector uses software keystoning, not hardware. There will be a dark grey outline around your image, this honestly does not matter and is not noticeable in use. For people looking at this for gaming, the 1080p (non pro) edition is actually faster than the 4k pro model. My one is measuring 17ms without keystoning or 67ms with keystoning, IMO this is acceptable for gaming, zero complaints using it with a switch or controller. The remote does NOT have a source button on it, however there is a very very easy fix for this. There is an app called TVquickactions that costs 5$ (that's basically a cup of coffee now days). Get it. With it you can make it so when you double tap the home button the projector goes to source 2, and when you long press it the projector goes to source 1, a quick tap brings it back to the built in android TV. That is how I have mine set up however it is customizable to almost every button (unfortunately not the assistant button). Other than that, get a chromecast TV (the one that comes with a remote) and use that for netflix, its way easier (and you can use the xgimi remote to control it too using HDMI-CEC) and is just like normal netflix. It is NOT Xgimi's fault netflix doesnt work nicely, thats netflix's stupid corporate greed only allowing large manufacturers to get authorization. XGimi has done everything possible and complied with all the requests from netflix and they, like other small manufactures, are being given the DMV treatment. I use a HDMI switch to swap between my PC, wii u and switch for the input on HDMI 2 (set to game mode), the switch I got is 4k60 compatible and doesnt need a usb to power it (my PC is always on so the HDMI is always giving it power) I am not sure if you are allowed to post links in reviews so here is the tail end /gp/product/B08SLCKD9T/ It works amazing, no extra latency, I used it with this cable for my pc (30ft length) /gp/product/B01HJVIBJE/ and these short cables for plugging in my switch, wii u and the hdmi switch /gp/product/B01CQRN7XQ/ All work for hdmi 2.0 at 4k60. I realize that HDMI switch does not have many reviews, but it does work, and it works great. Xgimi frequently updates the firmware and has fixed any bug reports I have given, I have no complaints about my current set up.
