Gelish Pro Kit Salon Professional Gel LED Lamp Soak Off Nail Polish Set, 15 mL

This was an initial high-cost item that will save me money in the future. I have done my nails twice now, and I believe that my home-done manicures are lasting as long as the salon ones. I am not a professional manicurist, but I have had them done often enough, for long enough, that I have learned the procedure. But it is easy to just read the instructions. The instructions are quite clear, and give you a step-by-step path to a beautiful polish. The kit is complete, with two full-size bottles of polish - a "hot rod red" and a pale, almost invisible on your nails color. For me, the longest "job" is taking off the old polish, but I believe that, as my nail beds heal from the improper techniques my manicurist used, the polish will soak right off, just like it's supposed to. I am liking this product, and am looking forward to "healthy, wealthy and wise"!

So far, so good. I got this yesterday and tried it out for the first time today. I'm really happy with how easy this kit is to use and also the fact that it came with two full size color polishes. Everything was exactly as described. It comes with everything you need to do your gel manicure at home. My nails turned out much better than I ever expected them to, considering it was the very first time I had ever tried a gel manicure at home. I have very thin natural nails and the gelish line has made my nails feel much more thick and strong, hopefully this means I will be able to grow them out and not have them tare off due to how thin they are without polish on. I absolutely love this kit and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to do a gel manicure at home. In the long run it will be much less expensive than going into the salon to have them done, as well as much more convenient. I will update my review in a few weeks as to how long my nails stay chip free.

If you like having nice nails, like doing them yourself and you are looking to save money, this is the best purchase. I bought this GEL lamp during COVID so I have had it for 4 years now and it still works just as it did the first time I used it. The lamp is a little on the pricier end but it is so worth it because I can give myself GEL manicures whenever I want without having to pay the salon price every time. This was one of my favorite purchases during quarantine. With 2 children I don't have time to go to the salon and I don't have time to wait for my nails to dry so this is convenient and it works.

For years I have been spending money on mani/pedi services at a salon. By the time you're out of there you're at least $50 lighter in the wallet. Normal nail polish just doesn't last, and the main reason I started using gel polish was for the durability it seemed to give my natural nails. I had thought about this purchase for a long time. For the amount of money I've been spending for someone else to do my nails, I could do them myself at a fixed cost. The start up is high, but if this light lasts, it will pay for itself in just 4 manicures.I did my first manicure, and the results were definitely salon quality. Pretty good set. Everything you need to give DIY gel manicures a try. The product was a little too thick (especially the base coat) and my nails are short so was a little hard to work with. I’m going to try some gel thinner and see how that goes. The picture is the red from the kit. It’s only been a few days but seems to be staying on so far. One thing to note, I had to cure the topcoat 3 times. When I first did the manicure I cured the topcoat twice and noticed I had a dent in one of them the next day. So I cured them one more time and that did the trick.Also, like another reviewer, my bottle of pink polish had no bristles, just a plastic stub. I contacted the company and they sent me a new bottle (not just a new brush/lid).

I was reluctant to order this product at first given the steep price tag. now I see this as a wonderful investment. I tried out the kit for the first time and I am so impressed with the results! My nails look as beautiful as if they were done in a salon and I haven’t been to a salon in months because of The quarantine. now that I’ve used this I won’t be going back. It was so easy to use, and I’m particularly fond of the red polish that is included. It’s wonderful to not cringe every time I look at my neglected nails, and knowing that my polish can survive all the hand washing and hand sanitizer is great. It is a bit pricey up front, but if you’re like me, you will save on salon visits and recoup the investment quickly.

My nails are brittle and I've bitten them horribly for over 20 years. Acrylics would stop me, but ruin my nails underneath and cost an arm and a leg. Gelish keeps my nails sturdy and I haven't bitten them since I started keeping them regularly painted 7 months ago. Cost equals about 5 sets of acrylics for me and that's a steal in my book. The light is large enough to fit a whole hand and sets the polish in one minute. My mother has had the same light for over 5 years and hasn't had any issues with it. The polish bottles are large and have fantastic brushes (the Gelish mini polish bottles don't have as nice of brushes). People now ask me where I get my nails done and if they're real, which is something I never expected to hear as a nail biter. Great product!
