Mike, I bought these and they are for BOTH axles. We have the 2.3L Mazda 3 as well. These are great pads and they are sold by a reputable company here - R1 Concepts. R1 Concepts are located somewhere in Irvine CA I believe, which is close to where I live. I have seen R1 Concepts at many SoCal auto events as well. You can but with confidence as I did. I would buy my brake parts from these guys for life!
