Very clever and smart toy. Does help to improve creativity for kids. I did enjoy the building part of it. Very cleverly designed. We have enjoyed it a lot as part of our family game!!

This set is very much a plastic version of Meccano and much safer for the younger child. I would have loved this set when I was a nipper.The set comes in a retail box. Inside is a plastic storage container which is packed quite solidly with parts. It’s nice to see more and more toys like these coming with their own storage box. They help to keep everything together in one place.There’s a colour manual in the box that’s nicely laid out. It shows a step-to-step instruction for the eight different projects available. Of course, once the child knows what they are doing, they will soon let their imagination run wild and design their own projects.The plastic parts look well-made, and pretty durable. The parts will flex rather than break and splinter. However, there is always a danger that small parts may be a choking hazard, so parental discretion is advised.Overall, a great construction set and at a good price. I hope that helps.

This set was a huge hit to begin with, my child assembled and disassembled it twice, but then it was it. I do suspect it is not toy-related, it might be we are just over this type of construction. All in all, this set is a great value. The materials used are high quality and the tyres are rubbery. The models you can build with it can be used as toys and they look great. They also turn out quite sturdy. And I, personally, think it is a great investment. I would rather have the larger parts in wood (but we already have a set like that), apart from that it is a great educational toy all over. Also, the models are quite largewhen built, so this is not a flimsy little thing.

These 8 in 1 construction vehicle building set arrived in its own slightly damaged cardboard box .Inside there is a carry box holding all of the construction tools and bits along witha handy instruction manual for step by step building of the suggested toys .I imagine this will be ignored by most children who like to stretch their imaginations and create their own creations though.This harks back to my childhood inventing and building with Meccano , these pieces are made from plastic though and a lot easier to master .Priced at £20.99 the only limit of this building toy is the child's imagination .

This is a fantastic construction set with easy to follow instructions. It’s durable and we like that everything stores away neatly in the carry case.My six year old needed a lot of help to construct the vehicles as some parts are extremely fiddly to fix in to place for little ones. My older nephews (9 and 11) who are whizzes at Lego builds really enjoyed building these and it kept them busy and off technology which is always a bonus.The little screw driver and spanner really tighten the nuts and bolts and the kids loved using them.A great toy which kept the kids busy for a good while!

I got this for my 3yo son as he loves building things. He does love it and builds all sort of contraptions of his own invention with it. My 6yo daughter also loves this, she can follow the instructions provided in order to build the 8 different vehicles shown without too much supervision. These are pretty strong and durable. My son is heavy handed and has smashed them about a bit and they've survived well.

This is a cheaper alternative to Meccano. It is compatible with the official Meccano and they all connect together easily. The box it comes in is great for keeping it all together and in this set it provides you with lots of bits and bobs to create a wide range of stuff. My kids have enjoyed creating anything and everything from cars to lorries to wind turbines it’s great fun for young inventors.

This construction kit comes in a handy plastic storage box. The pieces are chunky and made of plastic so they are easy for kids to handle. They also fit together easily. You receive a booklet with instructions for different models but obviously the child can improvise as well. This is a good value kit that has a lot of play value.
