The Ayn Rand Column: Written for the Los Angeles Times

It's especially inspiring to read the works of someone that intelligent, and who can write such that with a little thought while reading gives the reader so much more information than expected. I learn something I had missed before everytime I re-read it.

Ayn Rand was the author of “Atlas Shrugged.” That book got me hooked on Rand, so when I saw her LA Times columns published in book form, I had to check them out. I don’t agree with some of her columns, but I enjoyed all of them. I also got a great view of the era of JFK . Seeing that time period through Rand’s columns was enlightening.
