This little sharpener is just perfect for at home use. It's more powerful than expected and has been working perfectly. It's smaller than a soda can, so it sits discretely on my desk while plugged into an normally unused usb port.I used to have a 115V plug in model, that fell once and broke. This little sharpener has made the perfect replacement.

good value at its low price. sharpens well. extra blade is big plus (replaces a working one with worn blade w/ no replacement available. comes with usb cord so no cost for batteries that may leak over time of limited use.

This item broke 1 month after purchasing it. I bought it for my 89 year old grandmother since she is not well enough to do other activities. The battery cover pops off for no reason every time I try to use it (the plastic is not broken). I rubber banded it together hoping to hold it in place. The rubber was a temporary fix that did not work well. it only sharpens if you push the pencil in a specific way while taped up applying pressure holding it together. I am very disappointed. I try to find things my grandmother enjoys and she tries not to tell me when things are wrong so it is difficult already communicating with her and it would have been nice to just have a functioning sharpener. The only way it will work now is if it is taped up holding it shut. The reason for the tape placed that was is so it is like a tab so I can pull the tape off clean when emptying it.

Works well enough. The cord is short and it jams somewhat frequently, but is also easy to fix. Was inexpensive, so all in all is a good deal, but not for a venue that requires heavy use.

I homeschool and work from home so I was sick of hand sharpening pencils. This ONLY plugs in to a USB port, but I have iPads so I just used their chargers. Keep that in mind while ordering too. Sharpens quick and is a great compact size that can do the job. My ONLY complaint is when you clean it out the clear plastic piece is not a catching area. If you take that off, it all spills out so hold the WHOLE thing over a garbage can while emptying out.

I purchased this for colored pencils to use while I do a adult coloring book. It is easy to use, makes a great point on your pencils and does not leak shavings everywhere.

This is a pretty crappy sharpener or at least the one I got was. It will only sharpen the pencil if you hold it just right and it still takes longer than a manual sharpener. It sounds terrible and even gets that burning smell if you sharpen more than a couple pencils. Next time I will be buying a different one. It wasn't worth the shipping cost to send it back.

It’s easier for the kids to use than our hand twist and works great at sharpening the colored pencils. Came with a replacement blade and micro screwdriver too.
