Great Bass, Good Middle Tones, Simple Controls
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is an really nice little speaker. I find that it has excellent bass, good mid and high ranges, with a nice volume capability and good controls, but that the microphone is not that good.Sound is why you buy a speaker, and this one does a great job. The speakers are fairly small (40mm), but they put out really good bass. I'd say these are excellent for modern music that needs the bass. The middle notes come through strong, while the high notes are not as prominent. However, it works for just about any kind of music - jazz, new age, pop, and classic rock. It does OK for classical as well, so long as you don't mind it being a bit bass heavy. I found that the music was actually a bit better via BT than with the aux cable, but both were acceptable. The device is pretty compact, at 6.5 X 2.25 X 1.25 inches. It will fit in a pocket, but would be rather bulky. However, a backpack or purse would fit fine. They include a short MicroUSB cable for charging, but no charger or 3.5mm cable. The instructions are very sparse. The video has most of the details, but I'll list a few here.+ The MicroSD card works fine, but you basically have to go back and forward one song at a time. So it is best to put your songs on the card in the order you like.+ The hands free function is barely adequate. I could hear clearly, but the distant end could not hear me well. There is no capability of invoking Google Now or Siri, even though there is a dedicated phone button. You are limited to answer/reject/redial. I did not deduct stars, because this is a speaker, not a headset, and it is not as important. The phone works only over the BT, not when connected via 3.5mm cord.+ There is no splash rating, so I would be cautious with this speaker around water.Summary: A very nice speaker that can pound out the bass. Highly recommended. Please note that I received this free of charge, so I could review it.

Compact size.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is a cool little speaker with the added bonus of the ability to bring music on an SD card and play it without the need to pair to a device. I love that it's rechargeable too.I found set up was really easy, even on my son's very cheap-o non-brand name cell phone. That is always the real test, if it will work on a cell phone that isn't a Galaxy or Iphone. But his Alcatel Pop3 did just fine. The speaker must be in bluetooth mode to pair, which is just a matter of pressing the button labeled M on the speaker panel. Then once paired you can control volume from the cell phone.(see edit below, there is volume control) My biggest and only gripe is that there is no volume control on the speaker itself. So the automated voice is SUPER loud. (this is why 4 stars and not 5 stars) The sd card mode plays at a constant volume with apparently no way to change it. Directions didn't give me any indication that I am wrong about that. I suppose since this is designed as a bluetooth speaker the SD card was just a bonus. But I don't care for it being so loud at start up when pairing.I also have to say I like the Asian accent of the automated voice prompts. Not sure why, I just really liked it. Maybe because it's different. I felt like the sound was decent for a device this size and price. No problems there.I got my speaker at no charge for the purpose of this review.EDIT 7/25/16 Seller contacted me to say that the + and - buttons CAN Be used for volume. Just long press them. Upping my star rating to a full 5. I did check this out and it is true - it works. Apologies for not catching this myself on the original review.
