The instructions are clear and easily understandable. The paracord is quite durable that is why I chose this kit. I like that the colos can be mixed and matched for a flare of creativity. I have other notions that I can attach as well which makes it a good value for me.

I purchased two of these kits for my girls to complete while on our beach vacation. They thoroughly enjoyed them! While they come in a compact package (good for packing!) The kits come with ample shells and decorations. I was slightly concerned how the adhesive would work, given that it needed to secure shells, but it was very thick and worked quite well. It began drying relatively quickly, holding everything in place, even when placed vertically. There is so much decor, that we can easily purchase a few more boxes at the craft store and decorate at least one more box per kit! My seven year old probably spent an hour meticulously placing decorations after painting and letting the box dry, and my nearly 5 year old spent about half an hour, with me helping her squeeze the glue. Overall a great value and fun vacation craft!

I purchased this for our 9 year old who was struggling with the fine threads of traditional bracelets. The thicker cords made it much easier to handle and faster to see results. My daughter loved the experience and ended up making several more for her siblings and friends. As a gift, it's a nice sizable package and makes for a great presentation. However, if I were to buy it again for my daughter, I'd probably go with some of the cheaper solutions. At $23 it's a bit pricey given you can find exactly the same thing for $16, and in some cases the more affordable products have longer cords or more colors. As far as designs and instructions, I'd recommend just googling or youtube-ing some paracord bracelet designs tutorials. There's a lot more creative patterns you can make than the basic one that comes with this package.

We purchased this set for our eight year old granddaughter and she was absolutely delighted with it. She promptly made necklaces for herself, her friends, and a special necklace for her grandmother as shown. We had a playful lovebird that lived almost 20 years and was greatly missed by the whole family when she passed away. Our granddaughter made this necklace with a bird on it as a remembrance and her grandmother loves it and wears it often. The kit is easy to use, the components are of good quality, and the chains are strong and durable so the necklaces are very nice. We highly recommend this set for anyone who likes crafting and making special and unique items to wear or to give as gifts.

I got this as a Christmas gift for my 6 year old daughter. It is perfect for her age. Just enough hands-on to be fun. There are lots of images to choose from for the necklace. She cuts out an image then glues it to the glass. You have to be sure to press down so there are no bubbles. That has to dry for a few hours. Then she trims it, glues it to the silver back and that sets for another hour or so. Then she can put it on a chain. It’s a long wait time, but she didn’t mind. She made one for her teacher and grandma, so far. The one for her teacher had some discoloration on it, not sure what happened but maybe she got some glue on the image itself by accident. Anyway, this is a really cute craft and I’m happy with the quality. The necklaces are actually something you can wear and don’t look chinsy.

I was really impressed with this bracelet kit. The kit contains high quality materials, especially in comparison to other craft kits we've tried, where the pictures of the finished projects on the box appear to have been assembled from far superior materials than what is included with the kit. The materials in this kit are good - paracord, good quality plastic buckles, and metal charms that are decently weighty and a solid shiny metal. The instructions are decent, although it took a little figuring to make sure we were braiding in the correct orientation so the accent color and charm would be situated correctly. After a little help with the first couple of bracelets, my 9 year old daughter can now complete an entire bracelet on her own. One thing that would have been helpful is some guidance on how to calculate the correct cord length to make a given size bracelet. The braiding takes up some space around the cord so a cord cut to just fit a wrist will end up braided into a bracelet that is too small, so getting the right size to start took a little trial and error (and you cant really adjust the length after the bracelet is complete). Very much recommend (we even bought a second kit to give as a birthday present).

I bought these to have a craft day with my granddaughters, but unfortunately they didn't work real while there was no directions that we could read so you didn't know what to do first and how to do it. They enjoyed playing with it, but it never did seal up we ended up throwing them away Not sure that I would buy these again.
