Great and affordable
The cage I think is attached for young birds which worked good.we took it off for our fully grown hens we are using it for granite and oyster shells they will get what they need. Works great in this way to

Works great, chickens can't get their feet in
Decently sturdy feeder. No food gets wasted because chickens can't get their feet in it. Just put a few bricks under to adjust to your chickens height. Mine are seven week old now and one brick on each side is sufficient.

Feeder was smaller than I thought, my bad for not reading dimensions

Am not impressed
You may get better results if you secure this trough to a wall or post. Out in the open, our chickens knock this over within minutes of setting it out and the feed spills onto the ground.

Not exactly as described
Returned. Was not as described. Chickens could not get there heads through the bars. Good for chicks maybe too tall.
