What is the difference between this 1157 & the Silverstar 1157 besides the price?

The Silverstar 1157 filament uses more current, burns brighter, burns out faster, needing replacement more often. Rather than all air, there is a non-oxidizing gas in the bulb. There is a special coating on the bulb that helps achieve brighter light. Good for older people who have reduced night vision, like me. Guy Hammer, PE
