A few months ago I broke a sesamoid bone in my right foot. It has stayed sore. Then a few weeks ago, I broke the big toe on my left foot, with a turf toe type of injury. I hate wearing a boot mostly because of the difference in height from one foot to the other. This causes knee pain and other issues. I bought these for all these reasons, and they are performing even better than I expected. The pain from both injuries have really improved. They are comfortable, light, durable, and I wish I had found them sooner. They are stiff, as they need to be, but do allow some flexing, but my toe does not get bent in the joint. They are thin, and comfortable in my shoes. High quality, and I would definitely buy them again. Update: These carbon fiber shoe inserts have been a game changer for my recovery. I have a broken sesamoid bone, and the inserts provide excellent support and protection. They've helped reduce pain significantly and allow me to walk more comfortably. Highly recommend for anyone dealing with forefoot injuries.

Life-Changing for My Right Turf Toe Pain After struggling with right big toe (turf toe) pain for over 5 years, I can honestly say the TEGA Carbon Fiber Insole has made a huge difference in my daily life. I tried so many different insoles, multiple brands, different types of shoes (soft, athletic, work boots, hard sole), and even various socks, nothing truly solved the problem. My biggest issue was driving. Pressing the brake pedal would trigger sharp pain in my right big toe every single time. The TEGA carbon fiber insole finally gave me the rigid support I needed. The stiffness limits the bending of my big toe, which significantly reduces pain, especially while driving and pressing the brake. I started using these carbon fiber insoles after dealing with a stiff, arthritic big toe (Hallux Rigidus). My orthopedic doctor suggested trying a rigid plate to reduce how much the toe bends during activity. After a few weeks of use, I’ve noticed a clear improvement. There’s less soreness and swelling, especially after playing pickleball and going to group exercise classes. The key difference for me is how firm these are. Other carbon fiber inserts I tried felt too flexible, but these provide the rigidity needed to keep the toe from bending as much. Overall, these have been a great addition for staying active with less discomfort. If you need a very stiff insert for big toe issues, these are worth trying.

The insoles are extremely thin (as wanted), are true to the requested size and are tailored/cut well. Insoles of some other brands are quite wide in the middle or at the heel portion of the insole - which may cause issues to fit into shoes. I am using the insoles for walking and fitness training and have no issues. There is minimized bending - as intended and wanted. Right now I am placing 4 out of 4 stars since there are in use for only a few weeks. Meaning, I can not judge long term durability. But so far, so good.

I have Hallux Rigidus and my orthopedic doctor recommended carbon fiber insoles. She had the insoles for sale and they were over $100 for one insole. I tried it on and inspected it in the office. I was happy with it but it was too expensive. After researching I found TEGA CARBON FIBER INSOLES on Amazon at a reasonable price for 2, with no shipping. The value is fantastic. The beauty of having a pair is that they are reversible. These minimize bending of my toe which gives me stability to relieve pressure and pain. Have found them great in reducing fatigue. They are light in weight, smooth and thin. The sizing is accurate. I look forward to wearing these daily for support and comfort.

I bought these inserts at the recommendation of my podiatrist who has had great success with this product. My story is that I had bunion surgery several years ago, but the damage from the bunions caused arthritis in my big toe joints. This in turn caused strain on my Achilles tendon. I needed a solution. I’ve been using these inserts a couple weeks now and I am already noticing improvement. Not only are my feet and toe joints feeling better, but my Achilles tendon appears to be less stained and does not hurt as much. These insoles are impeccably made to the exact size listed. They are so thin and fit perfectly under my custom insert. They are stiff without any give at all which supports my feet perfectly. Even with long walks, I don’t feel the rigid insole, but my feet feel better when I return. I do not know something like this could help my feet and Achilles so much. Highly recommended!!!

These inserts do exactly what they say they are going to do. They stiffen the shoe dramatically and they do reduce the bend of the toe when walking/running, etc. They are also a well made, quality product. What they don’t tell you is that these inserts also change the volume of the shoe dramatically as well. A contoured footbed becomes very flat for instance when these are placed under the existing liner. I put these in my Mafate Speed 4’s and found my feet would start to go numb after a few minutes. I tried adjusting the laces repeatedly but unless I loosened the laces enough that my foot began to slip in the shoe I could not alleviate this sensation. Ultimately I have come to find these inserts introduce more problem than they alleviate.

Hard to over state how much stiffness these soles add. I use Salomon running shoes as my cycling shoes, add the soles to stiffen the shoes, works excellent.

This was suggested to me by my physiotherapist and it has been amazing as besides my foot fracture i had a number of the other foot issues mentioned. So very happy, very reasonably priced as well.
