30 oz USMC Black Double Wall Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel Marine Corps Tumbler Travel Mug

This was a gift for my son and he was pleased with it.

Update: it’s been a couple months and this thing is still going strong. It’s been everywhere with me and I use it daily. No issues, cleans out nice, still looks good, still keeps stuff as hot or cold as it was when you put it in there.Still recommend. 🤙Original review: I just received this. So keep that in mind. However I have added and removed this specific item out of my Amazon cart hundreds of times. I finally pulled the trigger and from what I can tell so far it is 100% worth it. It feels great, it’s light, and the lid is the one from the picture, not the video. I’ll update this review if anything happens but i don’t foresee that happening 🤙🤙

I expected a little bit more with the packaging for shipping, but I most likely misread or didn't select the right option as it was just delivered in it's original box and opened.For the product it's self it is good to go. The powder coat finish offers nice grip. It is leak proof as long as you put the lid on correctly and secure the pop up piece. I filled the cup up with water, put the lid and closed it all up and turned it upside-down and shook it vigorously and not a single drop if water came out.The designs of the E.G.A. and the flag raising of Iwo Jima is perfect and elegant.The cup does an outstanding job of keeping my refrigerated water cold while it was exposed directly to the sun light in 110+ weather. Outside of the cup was warm, the water was cold and refreshing.I haven't used the straw so I can't comment on it or the brush for the straw.Only minor gripe is the flap on the lid while effective is a little cumbersome for single hand use in comparison to other lid types that have a sliding flap.Overall outstanding product that this jar head loves and I'm sure other devils would love it as well.Oorah and Semper Fi!

This was a great purchase for me being a former Marine. The quality of the mug is just outstanding. The etching on the mug is crisp and flawless. The thermal aspect of the mug is just outstanding over 48 hours and I still have ice in my mug. The ergonomics of the lid when sipping is just perfect. I have a lot of travel mugs and one of the things that always bothers me is the lack of attention to the lid and ergonomics of the lip area. A travel mug (remember this is for travel) should have a longer bottom lip flange on the lid so you don't get the drink on you if you hit a bump while sipping or the contents are hot and come out too fast...think about it the next time you drink from your travel mug. All-in-all this was a great buy and now my favorite on-the-go travel mug.

This Tumblr is built with pure quality. And the straw and cleaner is an add-on to a great price. I am a marine Corps veteran from the 70s. This is my Tumblr for camping, which I spend a lot of time traveling as a retired/disabled vet. This Tumblr, even after using it and leaving the ice in it, didn’t even melt until later the next day in average temperatures.
