ProSensor M210 Stud Finder with 13-Sensors, Wood & Metal Stud Detector/Wall Scanner, Live Wire Detection

This studfinder just works. I used this for wooden studs behind plaster walls. Precise, super easy to use. Requires no calibration.

Best stud finder I’ve ever used! Very easy to use, display is super clear, even has its own little pencil!

Very good but when it comes to finding power cables not so much. It should be a different colour and how think they are so I know where not to drill as it only tells you somewhere in the vicinity

Does the job well but you need to double check anyway because it will pick up everything but it not always what it seems to be or where you think it will be.

This is handy for finding studs, the multiple leds giving a useful indication of the width of the stud without having to approach from two sides and approximate the middle. It is a bit too sensitive in some respects in that given a slightly uneven wall, it will think there is a stud when part is not touching the wall so you still need to test in multiple ways. It is, however, absolutely useless for detecting electric cables concealed in the wall. You put it on the wall and move across to where it finds a source. Then you move it away and it still finds the source. You turn it off and on again and it can't find that source again. Touch the wall with your free hand and there are no electric sources even right over a power socket. Put two hands on the handle and the results are different again. Maybe there is a magic solution where you stand on one leg gripping the handle in your teeth where it might give a sensible reading but if there is I couldn't find it. Overall, disappointing, was not worth paying extra for the live wire detection as it does not work.

By comparison to so many that are on the market this is not just stronger at picking up The elements of metal water electric etc. It is also far simpler to understand as rather than reading a whole list of symbols and trying to decipher which symbol means what this is simply lights. So no complicated display to navigate and you can just get on with doing the job.

I purchased this after seeing multiple reviews and forums saying its a good bit of kit. Hadn't really used ot since purchasing until I went to put my son's tv on the wall and noticed that it displays 1 to 2 bar on the electricity gauge when there isn't anything there in the wall or anything near or around that area. It also shows studs intermittently. For the price this isn't worth buying and I really dont trust it... maybe its better suited for the United States with them having a different voltage on the electricals and possibly different stud wall types

At last! A detector that actually works! As a professional carpenter I don't need an all singing, all dancing detector that shouts everything yet delivers nothing reliable! Hit or miss! I just need a reliable detector for timber studs. This one hits the mark 100% Easy to use and very accurate. 5/5 from me! You get what you pay for! This detector is worth every penny! 👍

Very nice stud finder. Seem accurate. Good value. Have a nice small level built in. Easy to use. Seem to be made well making it durable. Functions as expected. Have not had to replace batteries Good value for your money

Toute irrégularité du mur affiche des détections fantômes. Quand à l'alerte de tension, elle est très fantaisiste, il ne faut pas compter dessus pour repérer (ou éviter !) des câbles. Ayant testé plusieurs détecteurs muraux les autres sont pires. Celui-ci donne des détections exploitables dans les cas simples, par exemple les rails derrière un BA13. Mais si c'est un placo-phonique (double épaisseur) ça ne marche déjà plus bien.

Ok, as sensors go this seems an excellent one at a mid range price point. Still haven't quite established why it occasionally flies up a garden path identifying elements which clearly don't exist. But certainly more reliable than many.

Habe den Scanner an einigen Objekten ausprobiert (getestet) und für Gut bis Sehr Gut befunden. Die Bedienungsanleitung sollte man vorher genau lesen. Würde ihn wieder kaufen. Er passt gut in meine Scanner Sammlung als Ergänzung!

It works as all the videos depict it to. With the ton of LED’s it makes the job easier to see and way easier for a beginner to use. Plus, it has the green light to show the centre of the stud. This model also shows electrical signals within the wall. Again, easy to read and the nature of the meter essentially gives you a signal strength. It’s big, and that may be a drawback and definitely could be in tight areas. But I thought about that and most of the times I’ve ever used a stud finder was in a larger area to hang something that needs space. So no issue for me. The size is nice as it provides a good grip and a spirit level allows you to keep things square. This Franklin works nicely. I can see why people speak highly of it. Whether the form factor works for you or not, the electronic element of it is top tier. It plastic but well made. Takes two AA batteries. I popped two Energizer Lithiums inside it in case I leave it for a while, I don’t want alkalines to leak. I think somewhere it said not to use rechargeable batteries. Recommended
