Bought to do the fireworks and we have numerous candles in our house. Great that you can lock it and can also see, at a glance, how much power is left in it.Lots of safety cut outs if overheat or overcharge, igniting for more than 9 seconds will cut out so as not to overheat, give a few seconds and will work again.Easy to use and access the small wick at the bottom of a candle jar.Not to good at holding the charge but we did use it to set of a lot of fireworks and light a few candles from a full charge and it still had 25% battery left so cant really complain.A nice presentation box. I was so impressed I have bought six more to send to family as they all have candles, but small children and pets, so this will reduce the risk of accidents and make safer homes.Great buy. and great Christmas gift idea.Others out there at lower or higher price but this is a good build quality, feels good to hold and switch feels solid. I definitely would recommend this to others. I bought it for myself and have not been sponsored or paid to say these comments.

Following many varied reviews on this type of product I thought I would go for this particular model as it had the least bad reviews. It arrived well packed and secure and was in a plush box that included a USB cable. The unit was charged and ready for use straight away.In use it does exactly what it was designed for and is easy to use. The childproof lock works well and whilst not difficult to work out does take a little technique to overcome that will be beyond the younger ones.Battery life/recharging seems to be an issue with similar units so I will find out, in time, if I chose wisely but all ok so far. :-)

I bought a similar lighter some months previously which had poor charged battery retention that towards the end of its life it barely lit one candle! (Please note this was from a totally different manufacturer.).This one to date is performing well.

Love this lighter, its so easy to light candles with and the battery life on it is excellent.

This is amazing, it works well and can be used outside. Being chargeable is more convenient then having to refill fluid. Also looks smart. Very happy.
