I attempted to order these magnets twice. The first time, it was apparently destroyed in shipping and I was automatically refunded days after ordering it. The second time, it made it to me and I was amazed to discover that these magnets have so little magnetism they are barely attracted to each other.Unlike others, I knew exactly how small these were going to be going in because I can read the description, but what the description doesn't tell you is that these magnets have inconsistent polarity. Meaning, the polarity is reversed from magnet to magnet but NOT in any consistent way. You will not receive 20 magnets with "north" on the countersunk side and 20 magnets with "north" on the flat back side. It was seemingly random, which means if you are going to use these in a situation where they have to magnetically attract to themselves, not all of them will be useful. But, even worse than that, is that the magnets simply lack the power to even attract to themselves when polarity is correct.Most strong magnets you need to slide very carefully off each other because otherwise they will snap together and potentially injure you or break the magnet. These didn't even attract to each other until they were touching. If you need magnets to hold papers up on the refrigerator this might work, but then why would you get countersunk magnets to begun with? Anything more than that and there is no way it will be of any use.I will also say that the mixing and matching of products under the same page and set of reviews is incredibly misleading. This product page averages 4.5/5 stars over 877 ratings, but the majority of those positive reviews are for other completely dissimilar products. This particular product is riddled with terrible reviews, which I unfortunately did not even think to sort by when I tried purchasing this item because magnets are magnets, right? Nope.There is no circumstance where these magnets are of any use to anyone. They either won't work or there are significantly better options available for the price/effectiveness.

I bought these 3x2mm magnets to magnetize the arms, heads, and weapons of my Warhammer 40k Sisters of Battle minis (if those specific details help at all), and they were the PERFECT size. Will definitely be buying more!

I was trying to create a box with magnets to keep the lid on. When I screwed in magnet to the lid and screwed one onto the bottom, instead of snapping closed they repelled each other. The magnets are strong and price is good. So 3 stars but will not work for intended purpose and didn't see any indication of this. So here I am hoping to save someone else the trouble.

I thought these would work well to hold up small tools on my tool bench. I recessed them the magnets depth. Once I screwed them in to the recessed wood backboard they would not even hold a number 5d nail. That is sad & weird. So now I us them on my fridge to hold the drawing the kids make. That seems to work. Would I buy them again? No. Were they a good value? No, I needed them to hold small jewelers screw drivers and they are too weak. So they failed for the purpose I needed them for.
