I bought this cuz I was needing a roller for my backpacking trip coming up. I needed something ultralight and mini. This fits the bill, in more ways than one. It's light, convenient, small, everything I needed. It also has one added feature that I was hoping I could take advantage of and was glad to find I could. By this being hollow, I'm able to slide my trekking pole through it and use it more like a normal roller stick, rather than having to use my hand to roll it. This is a huge advantage, while on the mountain.

Feel good on my feet
This little message is great on my feet. It firm and not to hard. Caught it on sale, so got it for a good price also. Seem a bit small for other body parts for me.

WORKS FOR MUSCLE ACHES!
I bought this for my four grandsons. They have one already but the four boys work out a lot and needed another one. They tried another brand--but wanted the GAIAM. They said it really works to help ease their muscle pain. Great purchase!
