Lock-Jaw Barbell Collars PRO 2 with MAGNETS (Black)

I’ve had other lock jaw collars and they work great. Bought this one specifically for the magnets. Collar it self works great. But as you can see from the video the dummy that designed it didn’t use strong enough magnets. The collars slide down and fall from their own weight. Very disappointed.

Items locking feature does not work. Red lock does nothing, magnets work atleast. I decided to spend a bit more money for a quality product and long and behold its not any better than a standard $20 flip style. I also tried to reach out to the company and nothing. Save your money!Update: The company got in touch with me right after this review and made everything right. I know every now and then there may be a bad batch or lock here and there. They took care of me and appreciate everything they did.

My power rack has a matte powder coat finish and the magnets are not strong enough to hold the lock jaw in place when I stick it to the frame....the lock jaw just slides down. I have to make sure a J-hook is underneath it. Rather annoying, because I paid more to just be able to stuck them wherever I want on my rack.Still gets 4 stars though, because the actual functionality as a collar is excellent.

These don't grip as well as my other set of these without the magnets. My cheap metal plates move the clip a little during heavy deadlifts. But the magnetic option is so nice
