My favourite earbuds
Great buds, they sound as expected from audio technica. A little bulky but well build. Battery life last long. I use them more indoors. There are not the best for outdoor activities.

Pretty disappointed
I normally dont do reviews but I had to do this one because I think it's a serious problem for something this expensive, first off almost always the left earbud will get really stupid and wont turn on the first time when I press it. It was tolerable at first but when your as busy as me and always on the go doing stuff you need everything to work as intended, that's why I didnt cheap out on my headphones since they were going to be a huge part of my day however they glitch about alot, sometimes dont turn on when pressed and they always fall out of my ear I've tried all of the extendable ear pieces but none of them have worked, I dont consider my ear to be weirdly shaped but with how much it is the ear pieces should cover a wide variety of ear shapes, the sound quality is decent when I get it to connect, and battery life is good but honestly it feels like some corners were cut with this, for $150 this honestly isn't worth it if you need something reliable, not to sound harsh but everytime I have to pick up my earbuds off the ground and search for them because none of the pieces fit my ear is alittle frustrating especially due to the price, I would appreciate if the bugs were fixed too about the connection issues, I sometimes touch them with my wet hands and maybe that's why they're acting up or perhaps the few times I've hard dropped them messed them up but this is kinda ridiculous, their nice for the first month or so but definitely dont last you for the long run.

A long time fan of Audio-Technica
These are my second pair of true wireless earbuds that I have owned, my first being the TOZO T10 which were an okay pair, but lacked plenty of functionality. All it did was play/pause music and answer/decline/end calls and I rarely used the latter, however I do have to say the sound quality on those buds were great. Now on to the CKS5TW, an all-new set of true wireless earbuds from Audio-Technica made for my hearing pleasure. I was expecting a sound that would blow my previous earbuds out of the water, but unfortunately I was completely underwhelmed by how low the volume was even with my phone set to max. That's what I would have said if I had stayed oblivious to the fact that these buds have independent volume control. Due to the T10 and their lack of functionality, in this case volume control, I was accustomed to just throwing the T10 into my ears without a second thought which is exactly what I did with the CKS5TW, hence unaware of the volume on the buds themselves. So after trying out a few bass heavy songs with mediocre performance and tinkering with some setting on my phone, I resorted to the manual and found the solution to my problem (I should have done that first). With volume set to max on the buds and my phone set to a reasonable level, I repeated the same playlist and BOOM, there it was! The thumping booms and thuds that I had been craving for vibrated through my head from ear to ear, it was painfully brilliant. The experience I just had was what I was expecting straight out of the box, volume set to max and a bass-induced headache. Audio-Technica, a company known for its premium sound and products, has delivered once again. To think I was close to returning these because of something so trivial as low volume, I feel so stupid. Now on the other hand, just like the T10, though honestly this might be a problem for almost all true wireless earbuds, you can hear a static sound most noticeable when the buds are on standby. Not a deal-breaker for me, though I can't say the same for someone who can't tolerate static-producing earbuds at a price range like this.
