No they do not make your feet sweat. They are not as warm as they look but they are soft. I was looking for really warm socks and was disappointed.

Q: Will these socks fit an 8 to 8 in a half womens?

Yes, they will. They run a little large though. I'm an 8-1/2, but I also have swollen ankles, and they are so comfortable! They might be a little loose, but it's worth it for the comfy and warm these socks give you!

Q: Is there actually wool in these socks? The description says a cotton wool nlend but then there's no mention of wool in the material list
