Davis Instruments6440 Soil Moisture Sensor for Weather Station

This was delivered quickly, well packed. It was easy to install as part of my Davis Vantage Pro II weather station. It responds quickly to moisture variations and can be used at some distance from the transmitter if necessary. I have it for homeowner use, not commercial. I'm glad I got it.

Well made sensor with plenty of extra wire.

We have own Davis Weather Equipment for years and have never had a bad product and their support is slow but good.The Davis Soil Moisture Sensor works great but you have to soak them overnight in water "First" and make sureyou put them in the the ground with a tight fit. The cable could be longer but you can extend them.
