Had this set for a couple months now on my Vegas. Had them installed at the dealer. The good - speakers sound pretty good at lower volume while riding around town, and they stay in place (as long as you rough up the surfaces of the mounting hardware). The bad - can't hear them if you ride faster than 60 or have a cross/headwind (and that's with a fairing). The wired volume control is pretty inconspicuous sitting next to the clutch reservoir. Depending on the music you listen to (I'm a 60s/70s/classic rock fan), the mid-high range winds and synthesizers (think vintage Chicago and Pink Floyd) will cause your skin to crawl because it sounds like chalkboard scraping. Not a bad system; but if you want quality output, you're going to have to fork out at least twice what these cost.

Just installed the black version on my 2015 Harley Softail Slim, it sounds great!! I have a Boss system on my other Harley (chrome speakers), I ordered this one because it came in black. I love the smaller speakers, it's plenty loud and many options to install, high quality system, recommend highly! I could not find many reviews on this unit, so I was hesitant to purchase, so, I'm proud to be the guinee pig! Cost more than the Boss MC400 but worth the difference, plus this unit turns itself off automatically. Had to install on/off switch on Boss unit.

Sounds good and audible up to at least at least 50mph ....probably need to switch to headphones on the interstate but sounds good & loud around town, very easy to install also.

Second set not disappointed !!
