Silk Brocade Fabric Purple & Metallic Gold 44" BRO116[1].

This material is NOT pure silk. Don't be fooled by the name, or non-committal info, like I was. When it arrived, I did the burn test. Got melty blobs that smelled bad, as opposed to the dusty charcoal and hair smell you get from silk.It's also NOT metallic! Not even in the remotist. When something is advertised as metallic, I expect metal threads. This was not so.It IS very pretty, and easy to sew. The colors are purple and copper COLORED (Not gold metallic). But I would not have paid $21 a yard if I had known. $10 is more fair. I was under a time crunch, so used it anyway, and thankfully my friend liked it. But she doesn't know what I spent, as it was a gift. 2 stars only because my friend was happy with it. Otherwise, woulda been a 1 star review.
