Taste authentic, and I think it's a good price.
So far, I've only made a soup with it. It has what I believe are authentic ingredients, no fillers in other words. Happy with the flavor.

A good berbere on the mild side (most aren't)
About a year ago I bought a pound of Frontier berbere after reading some about Ethiopian cuisine. I like spicy food, but this is just too spicy for me. I cannot put enough in to really taste the other spices. If you like really hot food, this is a very good product. I just bought Sahadi berbere, and it is much milder than Frontier's. This, too, is a very good product. Tonight and mixed half Frontier and half Sahadi, and for my taste it is just right. I guess that's a review of two berberes.

This one is different
I had a recipe that called for this spice so once again, I went to Amazon and there it was so I ordered to use it for an okra recipe that I had. Never heard of this spice, but I was kind of glad that I ordered it. It’s not something that’s overpowering, but just a nice compliment for your recipe.

Nice flavor, but a little saltier than I would prefer
Large quantity, good packaging, tasty, but a little too salty.

Superb Spice !!!!!
This is a wonderful blend of Middle Eastern spices. It has a touch of heat but it does not overpower the magical blend of exotic flavors. I use it on chicken and pork. You could also use it on eggs and fish too. Very versatile and incredibly aromatic. Go ahead. Spice up your life.

Addictive and excellent!
While on my way to Kenya, we had an 8 hour layover in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The spice in the foods there was amazing. After finding this online, I ordered it, hoping it would be close to what I had there. It is dead on PERFECT! I would give 10 stars on the raring if I could.I now use it on nearly everything from chicken, pork, steak and fish to vegetables. If you order, make sure you order multiple things of it because it is addictive. It will be heartbreaking when you run out.

Tasty, But Not Particularly Spicy
Arrived quickly and safely. I mostly use this as a rub for chicken thighs or potatoes in the air fryer, or as an add-in to a seasoned flour for breading. Works admirably in those scenarios. I do sometimes add additional dried chili, ranging from cayenne to ghost, to raise the heat.

Excellent spice!
I love this flavor! There is a bit of curry in it with all sorts of spices that combine to make a different taste than say Indian curry. It is slightly hot which I am quite pleased about. I've only cooked one Ethiopian dish, Doro Wat, and it came out very delicious. I've used this Berbere as a rub before charcoal grilling steaks and chicken and like it on both. I'm sure there are many other uses that I have not discovered, but no matter. This is a large plastic jar but it won't be around very long at the rate I'm consuming it!
