Letter of the Week!

Good book. It has some great ideas for incorporating the alphabet. It is geared towards teachers and parents. One star taken because the book looks like it is more for making copies rather than straight out of the book use, but it is easy to follow and understand so overall I give it 4 stars

The book provides lots of words that start with the letter and some ideas of things to do with those words. Ex. C is for car. Arrange cars to make a c. Paint a car. Etc. There are picture cards and word cards for each letter. There is a full page size of the uppercase and lowercase for each letter. There are trace and write pages where you practice writing the uppercase and lowercase letter for each page. Then there is a page where you write a few letters, write words that start with that letter and draw a picture of something that starts with that letter. This page would be too hard for my child as he can't write words yet. Overall it was ok, but I wish it had more reproducibles. I also don't need so many words and 20+ideas of things to do. I just felt like when it says over 700 activities that a lot of that was wasted stuff.

This book is excellent. I’m working through it with my PreK student. It has good ideas and worksheets and compliments many of the other workbooks were using to homeschool during Covid.

I wasn't sure about it until I overheard my 3 year old telling her grandmother what animals start with A and making the a sound. So it works!

Simple instructions. Love the large letters for coloring.

This book is in very good quality. There was nothing written in it. This is just what I needed to start off the school year with kindergarteners. Good activities for them to practice their letters and sounds.

In our school we study a letter a week and this book gives us many ideas we might not have thought of.
