Box had been opened and there weren’t any instructions

Installed in countertop. Looks good and works good..

Looks nice. Closing action is sometimes a little sticky. But they work. No trouble for Electrician to install.

Mounted these on some counter tops where we needed power and they work great. The big hit was the USB ports. I should have had power cords handy so the rest of you should think ahead.

Blends beautifully with my deck flooring, enhancing the decor. Opens smoothly when needed for electrical use and closes to an unobtrusive part of the floor.

I did not have time to send back and took a file to the body and filed down the corners so the closing tabs would engage. still sketchy on both but works . opens with difficulty and closes tightly with even pressure on corners of lid. too bad, because practical design other wise and nice looking. the closure mechanism makes an otherwise quality product feel cheap . I will see how it holds up over time ? also ad indicated water proof but in accompanying literature it specifies not to be used on bathroom or kitchen counters near water. I had to install an extra gfi plug on the circuit to override the inability to be used on kitchen counter.

The the whole purpose was to get an open and closing outlet but the thing is bent wrong. I also may have read things wrong and it wasn't the exact right thing I was looking for. I'm however glad that someone else didn't end up with this busted one. Will be returning it soon.
