Chip type clips for bags and various items that need to be manually closed.
These were very good clips for something like chips but I wasn’t looking for this type of clip I was looking for something to hang on a rod but will still use these clips for other things in the future. They are quality brand and very inexpensive.

Easy to handle
I have a cotton clothesline. These work great. I think if they were used on a coated (like plastic) clothesline, with a thin article of clothing, to hang on it, they might not work at all. These are much better - in my opinion than the plastic clothespins that I've had. I've had the plastic clothespins and they were working great. I never left them outside. The plastic ones I had are now breaking into pieces. I'll see if these are still good after a few years.

stainless steel, solid build
Bought these for travel to work with a piece of waterproof, light weight, durable rope as clothes hanging setup. These clips seem to be stronger than the other ones I bought but not as stronger as I had hoped.I haven't tried these and hopefully they are strong enough to hold the wet clothes.

Great option when plastics break.
Plastic clothespins have broken or disintegrated in AZ summer sun. Wooden ones from China, splinter in the sun.These metal ones have a strong springy grip and hold our pool towels well.They seem well made and hopefully will last a long time.

These clips are not exactly what I would think of as wire. They are quite sturdy and are much better quality than the coated clips. They look attractive and clean on anything you use them for. They are also quite strong and will keep bags closed. They also retain their shape.

Using these as chip bag clips
We use these to hold chip bags closed. Also for bags in cereal and cracker boxes. They work very well and replaced the blinder clips we had been using. The binder clips are very strong and sturdy so that affects our perception of these clips. While not as strong and study as binder clips, these should work fine for what we are using them for. I suspect we will find other good uses for these.

Best clothes pins yet
They don't go Bing when you try to use them like the ones with springs in them they don't leave marks on your clothes love them
