Stunning effect
Great product and a great price, if you are going to wrap them the directional lighting of each bulb is of no concern. If you are going to use them in a straight line, you will have to think about the rope as a circle with the light-emitting brightest in a 30-degree arc. Zip ties every 2 or 3 feet will keep the lights in the best position. Definitely a 5-star product.

The description says "Weatherproof" but the package says "indoor".
The description says "Weatherproof" but the package says "indoor" but I'd say they're ok to use outside. They're in a vinyl tube that's sealed. They shine brighter if you orient the LED's facing what you want to light up by twisting the tube. I'm lighting a rock wall.

NOT "LONG LIFE" at all!!!!
After just under a year (on only 5 hours a night), they have big sections burned out. I bought the LED lights because they promised "Long Life" 60000 hours lifespan. NOT EVEN CLOSE......they lasted as long as the regular rope lights you can buy at any hardware store. And the tubing has fogged up and is no longer clear. If you're looking for lights that "LAST"......dont buy these.

Junk burns out quickly
I bought a WYZ LED light rope for my tray ceiling the whole thing burned out segment by segment in a few months so I was dumb enough to buy another within a week a segmentvburned out, this stuff us real junk

The end bit might go out.
The lights are just the right amount of brightness for the pop-up canopy I use and they're super easy to put up since I don't have to worry about individual bulbs. The only problem is that the 2-3 feet at the very end of the rope have gone out. Sometimes I can get them to light back up after working the rope a bit but they usually go out again. The rope is still very usable but it was just a disappointment so soon after my purchase to see the end go out.

The lights worked fine, but I only had them up for about a month and a half fir Christmas and the side facing the sun had already started to cloud up and is not clear.
