I love this book Sir Jason Winters explains everything so well ...
I love this book Sir Jason Winters explains everything so well in this book he got me thru my colon cancer without ever taking chemo or radiation I survived an operation & his book & his remedy. I feel I owe my life to taking the horrible drink of the seeds from the apricot fruit but believe you me when you think cancer is going to kill you you will try anything and I believe this horrible tasting worked. I've been cancer free now since 1996.

Lengthy sales brochure disguised as a book
I purchased this book after a recommendation from a friend to check it out.The book, copyright 1980 and revised 2009, tells the story of Sir Jason Winters and how he overcame cancer using a tea he developed.Much of it is outdated, which is to be expected. I found his travels and interactions with the medical community and his feelings and reactions to be quite fascinating. Also, I do think herbs and food can really help a person's health. However, after reading it, I felt like I'd been pressured and a bit nagged by a snake oil salesman. So much seems shrouded in secrecy. Perhaps the tea is all that he claims; perhaps people should try it out. My overall feeling is that it's a very lengthy and slightly entertaining sales brochure, and one I probably shouldn't have paid for... Perhaps what he's selling is hope. Not a terrible thing, really.Bottom line: it's a generally positive story about a man and how he dealt with cancer. I enjoyed the story. I don't think it's a cure-all, and the lack of an accurate bio updated with this "revised edition" concerns me. It's been almost 40 years. The book left me with far more questions than answers. Where is he, now? Is he still alive? If no, how did he die? A quick internet search couldn't answer these questions for me. As the book is classified as non-fiction, I am not sure why this is hard to find out.
