La palabras en árabe no estan en grafia árabe.
El hecho que las palabras árabes no estén en grafia árabe es un déficit impotante para quien pueda tener un mínimo conocimiento de este idioma.

Description non conforme
Rien à redire sur le livre lui-même qui répond parfaitement aux attentes de qui veut se plonger rapidement dans le shami (eastern arabic) sans y passer de longues heures.Par contre, l'article annoncé comme faisant 220 pages n'en fait réellement que 134... carton rouge à Amazon pour ne pas donner des infos valides, qui sont parfois part de la décision d'achat !

useful for some purposes, but limited in key ways
The Kindle edition of this work suffers two major limitations. First, there is no way of quickly going to the entry of a word in the dictionary. For example, if you want to find out what "Now" is in Arabic, the only way to get to the entry is to use Kindle's Find function, and to skip through every use of the word "now" in the text until you come to the entry. This renders the dictionary impractical in many uses. Secondly, the Arabic is not given in Arabic script, but in transliteration only. This makes it of very limited use if you are learning the Arabic alphabet as part of learning Arabic.

Bought on Kindle
I wanted to see how Arabic words were spelled so that I could pronounce the words better. The book might be fine, but it is very hard to navigate this book on the regular Kindle. Also the print is tiny and you cannot make it bigger without being even more awkward to navigate. If you want this book, spring for the paper copy.

Source for Eastern-Arabic words
Useful for basic words. Has all English text (transliteration) which isn't quite what I hoped. It isn't easy to find the Eastern Arabic words, i.e. for areas around Syria, and this book provides words which seem to be accurate for that area.
