These lights are great
These lights are great! I am refurbishing a basement which had not been used in a number of years. The original 2’x2’ fluorescents were not starting reliably, even with new tubes. Looking at the cost of replacing these, I ran across these LED panels. Packed two to a box, the price is somewhat comparable, especially after you factor in the longevity of LEDs.Light output is astounding! When the two are switched on, it is almost daylight in the room.

Easy to install and very bright
If I can install by myself as a 53 year old woman anyone can do. Makes my kitchen so much brighter and installed in very little time well worth the money so far.

Dimmable light switch
This items ad says "dimmable". it does not come with a dimmable light switch. This is misleading at the least.

Plenty of White Ligtht
I am converting my office condo's fluorescent light fixtures to LEDs. I mainly had 4 x 2 fixtures, but also had two 2 x 2s, one in the bathroom and one in a hallway.The temperature of these, 5000K, is a very white light and is not adjustable. They are dimmable...you can.buy a separate dimmer (either at the switch or fixture...James Industries recommends 0-10v) and adjust the lighting output to your needs, if desired.I did not install these myself, but I was there when the installer did put them up. Removing the old fixtures was more of a chore than installing these, including wiring them. They appear to my installer and me to be well made of quality materials.There are a number of advantages to these...they consume far less energy, no humming, no flickering and no buzzing. Also, no more buying those expensive and getting harder to find U-shaped florescent tubes my old 2 x 2 fixtures required.A welcome upgrade.
