Short guy shorts
Bought these for a fishing trip I went on recently and I have found that I have been wearing them all the time. They are very comfortable and are a nice length for my short legs. I am 5'6 and I find most shorts I buy are to long and go past the knees. These end above my knees and look greatEDIT: I am not going to post a picture of my pasty legs

Pockets on pockets in pockets
I’m a farmer in a hot climate so I shop for “fishing shorts” to wear that will be light, breathable and quick dry. I’ve paid $65 or $70 for shorts that fall apart within a month...but these Mossy Oak shorts are half that price and much more robust. Love them. My only complaint is they are not actually 7” inseam - they’re probably more like 9” - so my knee gets caught on the shorts getting on and off the ATV, but if that’s the worst thing that happens to me today, my life is going just fine. I will be buying more pairs of these shorts. Highly recommended.

Great pair of shorts!
I only spend the time to write a review on truly exceptional or terrible items, so that says something. These shorts are awesome! Wound up buying a couple more pairs for summertime fishing. The fit and finish is good. These are not long and baggy, you will need to look elsewhere if that's what you're after. Somewhat light weight, breathable, and very comfortable in hot and humid weather. The inseam measures 6.5in on the XL size, just right for my 6ft 250lb frame as I hate shorts that go down to or below my knees. Size chart in photos is accurate if you measure based on where on your waist you wear your pants. I wear lower on the waist due to having a bit of a spare tire thing going on. They have some give to them so there are no issues with squatting and bending. I can wear with or without a belt, but one is needed when fishing or carrying a bunch of stuff in pockets. Have worn a few times so far. They seem to be holding up well and no signs of coming apart yet. I sure hope they keep making these as I would certainly buy again.

Wrinkly looking and kind of odd assortment of pockets.
Before I say what I don’t like, I admit these are probably not for me. I’m not a fisherman. So maybe that’s on me, and it’s why I didn’t go below 3 stars. Trying to be a little fair.Good:Comfortable. Lots of pockets. Color is nice.Bad:Biggest issue is mine came very wrinkled. I get they’re for fishing, but not sure why they have to look like they were crumpled up. Next, too much branding. These two things go together to make these less versatile shorts. I like versatile when I travel so I can pack less.Lastly, there’s a lot of pockets, but not really an assortment I love. Again, maybe if I was into fishing, this is a perfect set. But I found the left thigh pockets not useful. Also, I’d like a bigger zippered pocket. And maybe some pockets with flaps to help keep things in.Color I got was good. So really wanted to keep them. Just not as good as similar shorts.

Don't Waste Your Time - a month and all four pair are coming unstitched
Mossy Oak makes some good products. They typically last well, even under sports, hunting, and fishing. These shorts are a great length, lightweight, and comfortable. The "double-stitched" seat is laughable. I ordered four pairs, because they were so comfortable. Within a few weeks the first, then second, third, and fourth pair all began unraveling in the "double-stitched" seat. The issue with that is that the back pockets are not true pockets. The pockets are the inner and outer material stitched together. So as the stitching unravels, your wallet and other items drop to the bottom of the shorts... and fishing them out makes you look (and feel) stupid.Mossy Oak makes good products. Unfortunately, this is not one of them. Save your $40... learn from my $160 mistake.

Shorts live up to description 100%!
Purchased these shorts based the “quick dry” description plus the numerous pockets. The main use was to be for travel so that I could wash them out in my room at night and they might be dry in the morning. I put them to the test and washed them in the sink at home after wearing and did not wring them out thoroughly, thinking that this would be a difficult test. They performed extremely well and were almost dry in the morning - I certainly could have worn them. But I also found them comfortable enough that I will order another pair simply for wearing around town. My only wish is that the holes for the back pocket button were cut vertically, rather than horizontally. No problem unbuttoning the pocket, but I do have a bit of trouble buttoning it back up. Minor issue...

Great Shorts - Run Large
Great looking very conformable but the XL I bought runs large enough that if you are really planning to load the pockets up with a cell phone, keys, wallet and fishing pliers, you may want to think about going down a size. I am a desk jockey as well as a fisherman so I like the extra waist but there is extra thigh room and seat also that I don't need. I would say the XL is more 42 than 40.

Nice shorts but the sizes run small.
These are very comfortable but they do run a little small. I wish I got extra large. If your waist size is on the end of the size chart I would suggest going ahead and getting the next size up. I am a 38 waist and large is a bit tight. To be clear the waist is ok but the inseam is tight and they are snug on my legs and butt. I am not a skinny jeans kind of guy so I don’t enjoy skinny shorts either.
