Works great!
The 13” cover model fit perfectly. While the installation seems easy, allow some time to do it right. This unit replaced a Gerard which leaked even after being winterized, and it seems this is very common! The new unit worked perfectly after the installation!! Recommend to anyone looking to replace their tankless water heater.

We are a family of 6 living in our camper full time traveling with the husband for work and our fifth wheel only had a 6 gallon heater and we finally talked ourselves into going tankless because it was a nightmare trying to bath everyone. We have absolutely zero regrets, install was super super easy start to finish took only about an hour. We only had one issue and that was water leaking out the relief valve in the front of the tank, which was resolved by turning the heater and propane on and allowing it to run for a minute and it resolved itself and hasn’t poured water out since. For some reason the relief valve hadnt sealed properly, but like previously stated, we turned the heater on, propane on, and let the water run inside for a few minutes and it sealed off.The water gets hot enough for me, and I like my shower to feel like my skin is burning off. The tank does kick off after about 20 minutes which is only a slight minor inconvenience, which is easily resolved by shutting the water off for a minute and turning it back on.Takes about 10-12 seconds to get hot water, about the same as our old water heater, because obviously it has to run the hot water up through the lines, I don’t see why people complain about this, it’s not any different for us. However it takes about 15 seconds to get to our second bathroom and shower, which is still no different than our old heater. But we love it and love that we can now give back to back showers, definitely makes our fifth wheel feel more like a home.

Great tankless!
Bought this to replace my leaky suburban water heater in my flagstaff 5th wheel ,it fot perfectly in the hole left behind by the stock water heater, although it was a pain in the butt the get the stock fittings to work on it so I changed them to pex and shark bite fittings,I ran a 12 volt supply to this new one direct from the camper battery instead of incorporating any of the old wiring to it , as well as a L.P gas line direct from the bottle , this heater"must" get a good solid gas feed in order for it to function properly..very satisfied with endless hot water ,that used to only last 5 minutes on the old water heater!!

Perfect for the toy hauler
Due to power restrictions I opted for this heater since it is LP and 12v dc.I can run the trailer on 15amp, 30amp (if running space heater) or kicked down from 50amp.Making us camp sight compatible. ( power wise)And keep most of everything running at the house off the standard 15 amp outlet off the back porch. ( running ²× fridges all L.E.D lighting, and a 12k BTU. mini split (dc inverter motor) for climate control. Surround sound, playstation and tv. Just cant run a space heater off the one 15 ampBut this heater is a direct replacement for those with a tanked style water heater in RV or camper.I have been using this unit for over a year now and still working as the weekend I installed it.For those considering this unit I will say it from experience, it is beneficial to set the temperature you desire from the control panel if not it may be to hot to stand. With the flow rate we have never had an issue while running the shower (residential single handle with scaled guard maxed) in a 36" × 36" shower and the sink faucet (home kitchen faucet) at the time.Have used in even in the freezing Temps once on a trip. Our drain line from the gray water tank froze but the water heater never failed. Love this thing. As an added bonus. It saved our bacon when the tornados came through and we were with out power for a week. Just fuel for the generator and a grill propane tank. We were never without hot water.

Amazing unit. Truly
This unit replaced my suburban 6 gallon water heater from the factory. Quick note when installing I needed a few 1/2 per pipes to redo my hot side plumbing it was just a few inches short from the factory. Also you will need to turn on the LP button for eater anytime you want this system to work due to how it gets power from the coach. I see alot of ppl complaining their unit doesn't work when all they have to do is turn on the "propane button" on their electrical panel. This unit works and it works well. It also has a built in pressure regulator so u DO NOT have to go out and buy unnecessary pressure relief valves for this unit despite whatever everyone says online. I have had mine running for over 8 months multiple times a day and have had zero issues. Also you only need the hit water side on you do not need to "mix' the water with the cold like in most showers. Just set your temperature on the thermostat and turn on the hot water side.

Planned obsolescence
Be prepared! A month after the 3 yr warranty ended, this unit crashed. It started with it not lighting and then a complete crash and does nothing when powered on. I have spent the last to months try to get fogatti to replace it or send parts to fix it. The first guy I spoke with was great and was calling me back to try and help, I think his name was John. But after it left his hands, customer service has not been impressive. Finally after figuring out that they entered my email incorrectly, I received an email saying they could sell me the parts I need to fix it, at a discounted price.

Effective tankless water heater for RV applications (or anywhere else you need hot water!)
Installation was straightforward and the controls are easy to understand. Thankfully, I had easy rear access for my installation to make all of the plumbing connections. Performance - worked beautifully! Heated the water to temperature very quickly and was not very loud doing it. Full water flow through the unit to the kitchen faucet and shower. We're on a permanent site so no worries for long showers for us! Winterizing was straight forward with the pressure relief valve being located right at the rear of the unit. Going to de-winterize the camper soon so time will tell if I was able to get all the water passages blown out or not! Looking forward for many years of service for this unit.

would recomend installing isolator valves for flushing unit.
Easy to install and works great. faster than the old water tank getting hot water to the bathroom sink.Would be nice if isolator valve kit was offered with system.

If I could give zero stars I would
The unit was properly installed and worked great. Was completely drained before winter and our first-time up at the cottage. The core is split open so the unit doesn't completely drain what a waste of money for a one time use product so disappointed

What a sweet unit!
Was a little sceptical when I ordered it, of it not working, being damaged, etc. installed it no major issues…getting flexible plumping lines to go from the back of the unit, to the hot and cold plumbing hookups is something I wish they’d include in the kit. As the unit is much smaller, and the connections are much closer together. But other than that no problems.Installed this on a 2007 34’ Arctic fox 5th wheel. We can do dishes, and shower at the same time and have an infinite amount of hot water. It was a much needed change as we are full time RVers, and finally having endless hot water is a blessing LOL.It saves propane pretty good compared to the traditional tank systems running on gas. As it only ignites when you want hot water. And it takes about 4-8 seconds, sometimes 15 in the cold mornings. WORTH EVERY PENNY!

Came well packaged and worked as it should
The item came well packaged and worked as it should. Only reason for a 4 star instead of a 5, no option to order the 15" x 18" door for the unit - had to buy separately.
