Patch is smaller than the size of my palm.
The patch is way too pricey for the size. I was under the impression it'd be a lot longer than it was for the money I was paying. I payed 7 dollars for my jeans, but I love them. They fit so comfortably. I got this patch to replace a few holes and the patch could only cover up one hole. I should of just went and bought a new pair of jeans for the money I spent trying to fix them.I didn't do the iron-on so I can't comment on that, I used cement after reading the comments about how it doesn't last.Overall I'm extremely disappointed. I wish they'd list how big it is so people can know they are getting ripped off before ordering. Can you imagine how much money they are racking in from one pair of jeans? They probably get about 200 patches or more out of one pair of jeans and resell the patch for 9 bucks. MAJOR RIP OFF. Next time I'm just going to buy my own pair of cheap jeans and make my own patch and use cement. Thanks for the lesson.

Good concept, poor execution
The concept behind this patch is a good concept. Recycle jeans and make patches out of them. However, there was poor execution from Johnny Patch. To start with, the patch arrived several weeks late, with no explanation or apology. Then, when I got around to trying it on a pair of my husband's jeans, it seemed like it would work ok...but after washing it, the patch started to peel off in spots, as if there had never been glue there. I have tried to use some fabric glue, but short of sewing the patch on (which is what I was trying to avoid), I am going to have to just remove it and put a new patch on. Don't waste your money on this product. Certainly not worth nearly $10.

Johnny Patch is my HERO
You are probably thinking, "Why would I pay for a patch when I can just make it myself." Then you will stuff the jeans in a bottom drawer somewhere, forget you even have them, and months later toss them because you never got to the project. Sound familiar? This time I broke the cycle..I admitted that I wouldn't get around to making a patch, added it to my cart, and am still wearing my favies, all thanks to the people who actually came up with idea to help slackers like me. Well done! There is nothing in this world that makes me happier than stretching out the life of my favorite jeans.A good friend of mine recommended that I check these guys out and I am so happy I did. The colormatched well enough and the iron-on is durable. A supporter for life - Thanks JP.

Nice product but a little pricey
This patch worked very well. SO well in fact that i have ordered additional patches to cover additional spots that have worn through. It is easy to apply and seems to stay well attached. My only complaint is the price. I must admit that it is a good business model to take old used jeans, cut them up and sell them off as patches and if you can get away charging $9 per, then the more power to you.

Save your money
Although the feel of this patch is just as comfortable and "broken in" as my favorite old jeans, it only 'stuck' on my jeans for about a week. I didn't even put it in the wash before it started to loosen. Save your money and just sew a patch on...this iron on didn't work for me and wasn't worth the money I paid for it.

Great patches...
I have used these patches several times and I am always pleased. They are soft and look very natural. I like the packaging and the directions were very clear. Best of all the glue is very strong and I have washed them over and over without any problems. They are so much better than the ones that are sold in fabric shops.Cute name. Stylish logo. Keep it up Johnny Patch!!!! I'll definitely order more!

It has a logo on it! How stupid.
This patch has a huge "JP" logo on it. Why anyone would pay this much to advertise a company that makes -- drumroll -- jean patches is beyond me. The fabric is good, so if you are really eager to go around with a big JP on your leg, go for it.

Not thrilled
Didn't stick well and would be nice if larger size available
