I used these pens for quilting and crafting and so far they come out of everything, it may take a second wash with some shades or if they have been there for awhile but still out it comes. Whilst always best to do a test piece first I have had no problems with cotton, silk, satin.

These are decent "skinny" fine-point washable Crayola markers. The box says "Made in the USA." I experienced one slight issue with one of the markers. As soon as I went to use it, a large drop of the watercolor fluid rolled down the tip of the marker and left a 1/8" dot on the paper. After that, it worked fine, but I've never had a marker do that before!These are "Bold Colors." The colors included are: azure (blue), plum (dark purple), rasberry (bright reddish purple), emerald (green), teal, golden yellow, primrose (purple), and copper (brown). The golden yellow is more orange than yellow. There isn't a black, or even a true red.If you want the basic colors, get a different set. I recommend the Dixon Prang Fine Point Art Markers, 8 Color Set, Classic Colors (80719), which include the basic colors (even black), and are water-based, although they are not advertised as washable. They have a slightly finer tip and seem a little better quality at about the same price as this set.

My son uses these markers on a eraseable marker board to write letters and words and less importantly to draw associated pictures. He has been using the same marker for the last 8 months and it is still going strong. They write precisely and clearly but do require a slightly wet paper towel to erase rather than a simple dry erase. I had been purchasing similar EXPO markers which would run out in a couple of weeks and had some colors that you could not even clearly see. The EXPO markers do dry erase but they run out very quickly and also do not write very clearly.I LOVE Crayola products especially since they are Made in the USA.

The pens are great: nice colors, don't bleed through most paper. Just be sure that you get all eight. I had one box that was short one pen.
