For years I made chili using different recipes. They were all good but I was never satisfied. My father-in-law made chili for us and I fell in love at first bite. It was the best chili ever. He shared his secret; he follows the recipe on the back of the bottle. He passed in May last year and for Christmas I stuffed each adult grandchild's gift bag with a bottle of Mexene and shared his secret with his family. The gift that keeps on giving. I'll always think of Marshall when I make chili. Thank you, Pop!

Publix stopped selling this so I have purchased for a great price on Amazon…. Even though it’s something we use seasonally in Florida I’m thrilled I can still get it through Amazon! Nothing compares.

Mexene has been a basic ingredient in my family's chili recipe for decades. probably eighty years or longer. Occasionally, I've had difficulty finding it locally and I got fed up with trying to substitute other brands. Nothing else has the unique taste of Mexene. Without Mexene, my chili just isn't "my chili."

I love this seasoning it goes perfect with spaghetti, homemade chilli and other dishes. I wish this size bottle was sold in stores so that I could stack up on them. I love this seassoning.

Flavor is great! The best commercially available chili powder I've tried.A bit on the pricey side, but worth it if you make chili often.
