SK68/1xLED UV-365nm Light

Overall a good UV flashlight at a modest price.

With the uranium craze going around, this light makes it easy to spot. Being the 365lm too also gives you the ability to see several other types of glass as well, so learn what each is. the best is you can "focus" the light and not need to be right upon the piece to identify it. I usually can stand a little bit back and just give a quick flash on it and know with out everyone noticing.

Needed one 365nm light, so I bought the two pack. Both lights in my box were labeled 365nm. Definitely a shorter wavelength than my 395nm lights, but lots of bleed through so it makes things glow inside a circle of white, visible light.Powered by one AA battery, it doesn't have the power to show pet stains beyond three or four feet in the dark. It's an excellent small light to shine on minerals at 12" to 16" to make the colors pop, but don't expect to find yooperlite with it in the wild unless you trip and the light falls right on the rock.Small enough to carry in a pocket to test for uranium or vaseline glass or marbles, or anything that reacts better to a shorter wavelength.Takeaway: Works for finding stains. Good for antique hunting. Makes most minerals fluoresce at least a bit at 12" in daylight; excellent to show rocks at 12" in darkness. Nowhere near powerful enough to even try to hunt any fluorescing minerals under any conditions.

Well made lights. Order other lights in this price range and they weren't worth the money. Highly recommend this ultra violet light. It's not overly bright but lights up the hornworms on our tomatoes better than the other lights we purchased.

I liked that they do make some of my rocks glow but not as strong as I would like they run well and there function was what I needed it for battery life seems to be ok and I love the zoom feature

Not only does these illuminate all the gross stuff you need to know about in yer bathroom, carpet, hotel room etc., it is the smallest and requires the least amount of batteries (1xAA). Such a surprisingly effective but yet inexpensive product. I got sucked into "more batteries, more LEDs = more illumination" I have 2 diff 3xAAA & a 6xAAA. This single AA IS THE ONLY TRUE 365 nm and thereby proves that wavelength is more important than Lumens.

Great little lights that are super portable at a low price. Work fine for up-close details. Perfect size to take in your pocket or purse to the flea markets. If you are looking for a light for yooping/hunting, you will need a more powerful light however.

We wanted these for some yopper stones we found on Lake Superior. These show the bright orange and not the pink you get on lower quality UV lights. Great price.
