The book is excellent! Well written and well elaborated. The best of all is that the book is written with arabic alphabet, of course taking into consideration the particularities of the colloquial levantine arabic (CLA) phonetics relating to vowels and pronunciation or non-pronunciation of some letters. The latinized CLA in the vocabilary is of great help. But, personally, I assume it is very important already know at least the Standard Modern Arabic alphabet correctly in order to take better advantage of the book. I am going to buy all of the books of the serie!! Fantastic.

例文も豊富で、英語の対訳が載っています。 章ごとの質問に対して、数人のネイティヴスピーカーがこたえるという形式です。日本の書店にあるアラビア語のフレーズブックはほとんどフスハーなので、自然なアンミーヤが聴けるという点でとても良いと思います。 ただ、リスニング用の音声の質にムラがあるので星4つとしました。 追記 CDを聴きながら文章を同時に読むということをしています。思っていたより一周するのが早くて、これ一冊だけだと少しボリュームに欠ける気もするかも・・??同じ出版元からいくつかフレーズブックは出ているようなので、他にも買ってみようかと思います。基本的にはとても良いと思います。
