I didn’t know I could replace the wax head on my pickers so I was very happy when I found these! 😊

The pen itself I really like, it's light weight and comfortable to use. The only complaint I have and reason I didn't give it five stars is that 2 of the tips snapped off right after I put them on the pen. Some of the tips seem to be a little dried out. But as a whole I really like it and enjoy using it. I do a lot of paper piecing and it has made life so much easier.

The media could not be loaded.  They are perfect for my rhinestone projects and hold them gently enough to not leave wax on the stones, but firm enough that I can place them precisely on my project.

I purchased these to replace the heads on a 3-pack of wax pencils I was using for a large rhinestoning project and, while technically they worked for the purpose, they were a downgrade from what I’d previously been using. On other pencils, the wax ‘erodes’ as you use it, sticking to the rhinestones and leaving a residue behind so slowly growing smaller. With these, I was initially pleased at the lack of residue, but grew to realize that they were also struggling to pick up the rhinestones as effectively as the others - like the wax was too hard to meld and ‘grab’ anything.In addition to that, the length of the screw piece on these pencil heads was longer than the insertion point on my original pencils, causing a gap between the handle of the pencil and the head itself. This isn’t that big of an issue, but after a while I did develop a ‘wobble’ around that screw point that I can only assume is due to it not being seated correctly.Yes, these work, but there’s definitely better ones out there.

I use these to make Christmas ornaments! I put jewels on the ornaments and these work great! I’ve ordered them many times and will continue to order these! I can’t recommend these enough!
