My First Mythology Stories (Illustrated) (Set of 5 Books) Story Book for Kids - Brahma, Shiva, Bhakta Prahlad, Luv-Kush, Durga

I gave 3 stars just because they were short stories but I felt the assemblage didn’t really get to the main parts that actually make the story the amazing story it is. Maybe it could have been constructed a little better leaving in major details to the actual stories. Such as the story of Bhakta Prahlad - the whole part about Hiranyakashipu attempting to have his son killed was completely left out and without that - the story does not show how amazing Prahlada actually is in his faith and devotion and Bhakti and how amazing god is in protecting his faithful. Another major detail left out of Luv and Kush is that Sita actually went back to the earth after luv and Kush reunited with their father ram so they left out another huge event of what they truly experienced directly after meeting their father and returning to sita but they stopped the story at meeting their father which seems to me a bit of a fairytale. Maybe they wanted to leave out negativity but it doesn’t show the true strength of all these stories without the negativity. Almost like a fairy tale instead of the strength enduring courage these stories actually unveil to us. These stories are not fairy tales and should implode an extreme amount of spiritual wisdom even if wanting to write a short version. Pretty disappointed in the Bhakta Prahlad one. I filled in the gaps to my young but most of the story to me was just missing but I understand it is supposed to be an introduction but i just feel it should have left major details that make the stories what they are.

It is not Mythology Stories. Can we change the heading?

These books are great to introduce young kids to the foundations of Hindu stories, but the only book shown we received was the one about Shiva. The other four were different ones from the same series that we already own and it was too late to return before gifting

A must book to know and teach our rich culture

Quality of paper is too good. It's parents duty to teach their children about our history, literatures. Basic concepts are given on these books. For 3-4 years Kids these are best & pictures on the book make them curious to read & keep an eye on them.

Amazing. My kid loved it. Grand parents add more stories with all god/godess along with these 5

Good leaning stories for kids. My kid has learnt and understood easily over reading the stories by himself.
