Not thrilled, its stiff
The vest is made of a fairly stiff fabric, so it doesn't drape well over the shoulders or stay closed over the chest. It tends to sag to wide open. I had a seamstress take in the sides -- a lot -- which makes it look less like I am drowning in it. I also washed it and ironed it (at low temp) to see if it would soften and drape better, but it still looks and feels stiff. I bought a similar gold vest on Amazon with mardi gras flowers all over it for another event and it fit wonderfully better. This vest would fit over top of a regular shirt, or even a shirt and windbreaker, it is so large.
