They are not made to pick up logs they won't stay in the logs

It works very well to pick up fire wood that is hard to handle otherwise

Bought a similar one - Canadian made with the prong to hook the log with a set bolt to remove/sharpen it I guess. THAT one is the right engineering.Forget this one. Angle is wrong, too small, and the handle direction does not allow for a second hand if needed. Bounced off a few logs, hands tingled, and I returned it. 20 years experience as a homeowner on three acres "logging" so no amateur.
