Q: How is the fit? As expected or small/large? I wear size 13 shoes. Wondering if I should the 13 boot...

I found the fit to be consistent with my regular size. So you should be fine. I will tell you -this is a good boot, but I didn't end up keeping mine. I bought the Sidi Adventures and I love them. Best boot I have ever owned. Just saying... :)

Q: How do they compare to sidi adventure 2; are they more or less comfortable walking around?

Both the Sidi and the Alpinestars are comfortable to walk around in. My size 10 converted to a size 44 in the Sidi and size 45 in the Alpinestars which gave me a little more room in the toe box, while the Sidi felt a little more fitted. It all depends on what type of fit that you are use to. Have not had any problems walking around in either pair. The Sidi does develop a squeak at the instep which can be quieted by adjusting the positioning of the side flap and and the backing for the buckle. Hope this helps.
