A Divine Testimony of Faith
I love true stories of faith, redemption, love, hope - about Jesus! This book has it all and more. It’s elegant while heart wrenching. Our family has been and is again going through a hard season. My husband’s a tough guy but his world has changed and is changing. We watched this family share this story in a 30 minute YouTube. He’s not a reader! Their conversation was so healing for him. I’m taking excerpts and am sharing! This is a must read when you feel hopeless. When your heart aches. When you n Ed to hear from the Lord! Thank you Evans, Hurst and Shirer families for bringing us into your home and hearts!

Perfect Timing
This book was just what I needed and just when I needed it. Very recently I’ve experienced the loss of both my Dad from Covid and a month later my brother from Cancer. Reading this book really has helped with the grieving process. Divine Disruption really pointed my focus back to God and His Plan. I love how everyone expresses their own unique perspective concerning their shared loss yet they have a common thread of hope, legacy and faith that steers them forward.

Well-written reflections
I enjoyed the compilation of voices in this book as Tony Evans and each of his 4 children shared their perspectives on the deaths they experienced and life after so many losses. I admire the family cohesion displayed in this project. Reading this book gave me glimpses into who each writer is and how Dr Lois Evans impacted each of them. My favourite takeaway is the evidence of God at work in the midst of pain and hardships.

All the emotions were felt
I read this book in about 4 days, which is bananas. I am a slow reader.I love how each person shares their story and give their perspective. I was concerned that this format would make the book choppy but it flows well. This book was very helpful as I was dealing with similar life circumstances. I didn’t know it then, but my mother would pass just a few months after reading this book. It helped me “see” what was coming. It was comforting.Warning: If you are a crier, do not read this book on an airplane… like I did. 😳🤦🏾♀️

Thank you
This book has been a blessing to me on so many levels. I've marked and highlighted so much rigorously. I was praying to God for a book to start reading this year. Unknowingly my father was terminally ill and would be dying within a month of saying this. There are so many similarities within this book when it comes to my family as well as how close-knit we are. Therefore, I bookmarked quite a bit. To lose our father was a tremendous heartbreak and right before his death, my daughter lost her father as well. My ex-husband. No matter what, I still loved him, and that broke my heart. So we both lost our daddies a week a some days apart. Not even 2 weeks! This book popped up first because I typed heartbroken while seeking something to help me through these hardships. It was a great decision amongst you all to come together and help others in ways unimaginable. I am still grieving as it's only been a couple of weeks since I got back to my home in FL. The reality of getting back to my life was a struggle. Day-by-day I'm pulling through and this book helped along the way. So, again... when there are no words to form my gratitude and the need for help (with similar stories), I say, thanks. Job well done. It worked.

Awesome book. A must read
I love everything about this book. It resonated with my life. I needed to read this book because I too lost my sister on March 23rd,2021. She was 41 years old and like winter she went to bed and her heart stopped. No known heart issues. She left behind her 3 year old son and a husband who lost his everything.I recommend this book to anyone who need to know that bad things happen to good people and because they happen and they are incomprehensible doesn’t mean that God doesn’t careThe authors were real and transparent with their experiences and their emotions and their strugglesIt encourages you to go on when there’s divine interruptions beyond our imaginations and expectations even when it seems that God is not listening to us or answering our prayersAwesome book. A must read
