LockNLubeSeal-Off Grease Adapter

I bought the lock & lube seal off grease adapter to lube the swing arm on my motorcycle. The swing arm did not have the standard grease tip or nipple to attach the grease gun to. I took a chance that this adapter with a cone shaped rubber seal was what I needed. It worked great. I was able to pump grease into my motorcycles swing arm and see some grease being pushed out from the bearing areas. Perfect. My motorcycle needed the greasing and the adapter was exactly what the job required . I am riding safer , smoother , and with a peace of mind thanks to this wonderful little tool. Put the grease adapter on my grease gun and attempted to grease my chainsaw bar...I was unable to do that because the rubber tip was split and sprayed grease all over me..If you still wish to purchase this adapter, just toss your money in the trash can and obtain the same results without getting all sprayed with grease.

I was happy with the LockNLube grease chuck so thought I'd try this thing to adapt to a set of Speedplay pedals that inexplicably don't have a grease fitting although they require regular greasing. Unfortunately even with moderate pressure, this thing sprung a leak and could not get grease into the pedals worth a damn. Recommend looking elsewhere if you need to apply grease to a fittingless widget.

It all started when trying to grease a hard to reach place and the zerk would not come loose from the grease gun fitting so it ended up (and is still) stuck on the grease gun fitting, ruining the threads. The tip on this fits the hole perfectly, making a seal. I did unscrew the zerk and put the tip on the grease gun hose as it was too 'wobbly' out of the box. This was the perfect tool for the job!

Grease comes out where rubber nipple is attached to metal not out of end of nipple into zerk fitting.
