I primarily used this product for the extra-long pins; I needed to create an I/O panel for one of my projects. The pins were easy to remove from the yellow plastic. I inserted these pins into a JST housing, then soldered said housing onto a PCB board. I then placed a second JST housing on the other side of the PCB board, thus creating a JST-to-JST connector. These pins were almost too long for this project, but it still worked.End-users of this product may find that the pins are a little TOO easy to remove from the yellow housing. For me, this was a great convenience, but y'all might have a more typical application for it.

These pin headers have long pins either side of the plastic, this makes them really useful when using breadboard because normal pin headers are not long enough, you would be able to push them into the breadboard, but then would be unable to connect to them.These solve that problem.

These are perfect in a breadboard, having full length pins on either side of the plastic. This makes it great for plugging pins, oscilloscope probes, test hooks and crimped connectors into a breadboard. The connectors are decent quality, breakaway easily, and don't seem to have any corrosion on them.

These are perfect for using on a breadboard. I got these for solderless projects, as I have a bunch of female-ended dupont cables which are generally useless in solderless projects! These headers make them useful.
